The wait for November 6th just got longer...console looks so much better than the pictures. I ended up selling my old xbox that was about to die and purchased this one.

Also, I don't remember buying an HD cable for my old xbox 360? Do you need a special cable for HDMI like he mentioned...I have 720p. I could be wrong, but I don't remember going out to purchase a new set of wires...

Yah, they definitely don't come with the HDMI cables.

In regards to the console/controllers, I agree; they look way cooler in the video. I actually didn't realize everything was see-through.

I don't like to own special edition consoles (I like my electronics to blend in and be understated), but that thing is extremely badass.

Oh, yah, whatever cables you've been using will still work fine. I think he was trying to get at the fact that it's odd (see: stupid) $400 systems don't just come with HDMI cables these days.

Sorry for the confusion, I just want to make sure. Last thing I want to do is purchase the console and get home and be playing on composite haha

Yah, those cables will still work.

That said, if you have an HDMI port on your tv, by all means, hop on Amazon and snag and HDMI cable for $5. HDMI is still your better connection, so you might as well.

Lol... time to upgrade tvs and join the world of 1080p my friend!
