Pretty stupid on Microsofts end. Oh well, when I get my copy I will just stay offline until the 6th.
Link to source, I am still seeing that only Pirated copies are being banned.


Also if all this hype and love for Forward Unto Dawn doesn't get a movie back into development I don't know what will.

Yeah, I am keeping the early copy (If I find one for reasonable price) while a friend of mine is giving me the $60 for the Halo 4 copy that comes with my xbox.

Watched the intro/first level and OMG, my hype meter just jumped even more.

However I heard that the campaign is only 4 hours long. I am hoping they were just playing it on Easy. I always start out and finish on Legendary.

November 1st reviews are suppose to release so here's to hoping.

Where did you hear 4 hours? That seems off by a lot, even if they were on Easy.

4 hours sounds about right on Easy. I play all Halo's on Heroic the first time through and usually end up somewhere between 7-8 hours, but I've replayed some on Normal and it only took me a little over 5 hours. Normal is really easy (always has been), and on Easy you can literally hold forward, which is exactly what some people were doing in streams a couple weeks ago. One dude even said he was playing on Easy just so he could finish it to upload and spread spoilers as quickly as possible.

Where did you hear 4 hours? That seems off by a lot, even if they were on Easy.

From what I read they said anywhere from 4-12 hours for story.

Easy <4-6 Hours
Normal 6-8 Hours
Heroic 8-10 Hours
Legendary 10-12> Hours

Looks like Halo 4's is going to redefine it.

Especially with Spartan Ops also included as well.

Only way I play campaign is if I found it early. That's the only reason I completed Black Ops campaign mode.

That's on easy. All the Halo games are that short on easy.

30 something million of the budget went into the marketing.

The MP aspect, especially this Spartan Ops mode, is an expensive focus.

So, pretty easily.

Having to set up a new studio and hire top talent alone is the reason it's the most expensive Microsoft game yet.

I'm thoroughly disappointed in you.

As far as shooters go, they're some of the most fun. Especially if you're playing them co op with other people.

I play the campaign on legendary....after about a year of playing multiplayer. Campaign is just "meh" to me compared to multiplayer.

I can't imagine getting the game the first day and firing up campaign...so boring haha
