    Halo 4 Specializations:
    • The UNSC Infinity, the largest starship in the UNSC fleet, is your gateway to the Infinity Multiplayer experience in Halo 4 and serves as the center of your Spartan career. Here you will build your custom Spartan-IV super-soldier, and progress your multiplayer career across both Spartan Ops and the multitude of competitive War Games modes.

    • Halo 4 has fifty levels. Once you have advanced through the standard fifty levels, you will get the option to enlist in a Specialization. You can choose the order in which you tackle unlocked Specializations. However once you select one, you must advance through it completely before enlisting in a separate Specialization.

    • Specializations allow you to enlist in specific rank paths. These paths are composed of ten levels each. As you level up through these dedicated paths, you will unlock armor sets, emblems, visor colors, weapon and armor skins, and armor mods – which provide even more options to customize your Spartan-IV to fit your preferred role on the battlefield.

    • These armor mods will work exactly like all other tactical and support mods in the game. They are not tied to specific armor for each Specialization, so you don’t have to wear the armor to use that particular mod. They enhance a small part of the sandbox (meaning good players will still be good, and not good players will still be not good), allowing people to play the style they want to play and experience the parts of the sandbox they like on a more frequent basis.

    • We consider Specializations end-game content because even if you have “access” to all of them on day one, you will still need to reach level 50 before you can enlist in any Specializations. Think of them as giving you control over extending your level cap.

    • Two Specializations – Wetwork and Pioneer – will be available to all players when the game launches, and the rest will gradually be made available in the months following launch. We will be keeping a close watch on player participation post-launch and will roll out the additional six Specializations when the player base reaches certain milestones. There will also be playlists available that do not utilize loadouts or armor mods.

I thought that as well however when I looked closer at the top of their helmets it looks sort of like chiefs helmet. Usually ODST's would wear drop armor with the motorcycle type helmets.

Full Details and Release Date For the 'Halo 4' Soundtrack Revealed

Coming on October 22nd, the Halo 4 Original Soundtrack will feature 15 tracks and around 75 minutes of music from Massive Attack's Neil Davidge, 343 Industries and 7Hz Productions
Besides the standard edition release, the 22nd will also see the release of the 2-disc Special Edition box set which includes the soundtrack as well as 14 remixes from electronic producers and rock musicians. While the standard edition will run you about $13.98 USD, the Special Edition will set you back $75 and include a 70-minute DVD with behind-the-scenes footage featuring the creation of the soundtrack, a hardcover book focused on the making of the soundtrack, a print signed by Davidge, a 12" disc featuring Cortana and the Master Chief, and an exclusive Avatar tee download code. You can order that directly from Halo Waypoint.

                  ...

                  Massive Attack's Neil Davidge

On what he did to prepare for work on Halo 4:

“I went back and played the games. It felt important to listen to them in context. I did scan some of the soundtrack albums that Marty had produced. I didn’t really feel like it was going to help me reinvent or evolve the score for Halo. What felt more important for me was to get more involved in the characters of Master Chief and Cortana. So I went back and I replayed the first three games and was just kind of soaking up the music and working out what felt good energy-wise and emotionally. I was trying not to focus too heavily on what Marty was doing.”

On whether he’s spoken to O’Donnell at any point during the process:

“We did drop each other a little note on Twitter – just a quick ‘hi’. He congratulated me on getting the gig. [But] we haven’t met. It would be an honor to actually meet up with him. I think he’s pretty much single-handedly turned game score on its head and turned it into professional art. And there are a lot of composers out there who owe him a beer.”

On the importance of the music in Halo:

“One of the main characters in the games has been the soundtrack itself. That was a pretty daunting thing for me – coming onto a game where the music had such a central role. It put a lot of pressure on me.”
On whether they went in a completely new direction out of respect to O’Donnell’s work or to fit the new trilogy’s story:

“It’s very much because it’s a new trilogy. Everyone has the utmost respect for what Marty has done. The phrase that kept going around was ‘evolution not revolution’ of the score. [They wanted a] more electronic, slightly more beat-driven direction, which is one reason why they came to me. They wanted to flesh out, sonically, a new universe. One that they could expand on in subsequent sequels.”

On whether or not he thinks the classic Halo soundtrack even needs to evolve:

“In my opinion just as a fan of the game, yes I think it did need to evolve. It’s healthy to keep things changing. Each Massive Attack album I’ve worked on was significantly different than the previous album. There’s a whole new world of fans out there who listen to a whole different kind of music than what was out there 10 years ago [when Halo first released].”

Can't wait for this game, looks like it'll blow all the other Halo's out of the water, and those were some pretty stellar games

Between this, Assassin's Creed III and NHL 13 I don't know what I'll do :P
