What SWAT game had grenades? I know Halo: Reach didn't.

Also, Spartan Ops is pretty cool. I just beat all of episode 1 on legendary. Each map takes around 15-20 minutes. I like it a lot better than firefight.

Halo 3 SWAT had grenades, but they were later removed.

Halo 4 SWAT settings:

• Teams: 4v4
• Score to Win: 600 [60 Kills]
• Loadout 1: DMR, Magnum
• Loadout 2: BR, Magnum
• Grenades: Disabled
• Shields: Disabled
• Damage Resistance: .8 – Headshot = Instant kill
• Motion Tracker: Off
• Infinite Ammo: On
• Shield HUD: Disabled
• Ordnance: Disabled

Maps:

• Haven
• Adrift
• Complex
• Abandon
• Solace

Weapons:

• DMR: 3 bullets to the chest, 1 bullet to the head
• Magnum: 3 bullets to the chest, 1 bullet to the head
• BR: 7 bullets to the chest (this gun shoots three bullets in a burst, so the first bullet of the third burst will kill the player), 1 bullet to the head

Halo 3 had grenades in their Team SWAT. It was awful. I think I read somewhere that they later updated it so you didn't spawn with grenades, but that was long after I gave up on SWAT in that game.

I still don't see how the BR and DMR will be balanced in SWAT. I mean it's a 3 round burst and 1 bullet just has to hit.

Oh well doesn't matter, lol. Swat is Swat.

Maybe they'll tame the power of the burst so if only 1 or 2 of the 3 hit, it won't result in a kill. Seems fair to me. It would remove cheap kills from just winging BR shots recklessly. Would allow players who prefer the DMR to use it, and actually reward those who are accurate with it.

Like you said; swat is swat and I can't wait for it. Hell, even if they only give us Swat magnums I'll be happy.

Well with the info below I dont see why anyone would use anything other than the BR. 1 in 3 chance to get a kill with it other than the DMR.

Just got the game. Can anyone tell me what the install size is for both disks? I know you need to install the 2nd disk for sure and its 8Gb, but what about the 1st disk?

I finished the campaign tonight and this was one wild ride from start to finish. I think the franchise is in excellent hands with 343. Some may disagree, but I think that Microsoft finally has their own Naughty Dog/Guerrilla Games under their umbrella. I am a little bit perplexed that it has taken 7 years for a developer to really make a 360 game that looks this good. We have been seeing this kind of work on the PS3 for a few years now. EPIC came very close last year IMO with Gears 3, but this tops Gears 3 from a technical standpoint.

I am excited to see where 343 will take Halo 5 next with the Chief. The story was a little bit confusing at times in H4, overall I think it was well done and the relationship between Master Chief and Cortana was an emotional ride all the way to the end.

I had 2 issues with the game which I hope that 343 learns from since it is the same mistake some of these guys made under the Bungie banner. First issue I had were some of the levels that actually felt like they were repeating themselves. This has been an issue with Halo since the stupid Library in the first game. Having to go through a few sections where you have to go turn on a switch and the room is reversed has driven me nuts with this series. Then I can't stand some of the industrial looking interiors, I am ready for some new locales considering that 343 has really done an excellent job with the graphics. Again, these are just complaints that I have had for years with Halo.

I hope the Promethean race is expanded in H5 if this is the main enemies that we will continue to fight since we only saw the same Prometheans over and over throughout the game. I love the Covenant, especially those grunts, their cute.....but no more. LOL! The Promethean Knights are menacing as hell, hope we see more of them in H5.

I think this year for GOTY for me is between Sleeping Dogs, Max Payne 3, and Halo 4. I still have to play AC3 before deciding.

Seriously what is up with the map voting. 90% of the time we play either Haven or Complex in regular. And Ragnarok or Exile in Big Team despite having 3 friends plus myself voting for something else.

I'm pretty sure there are one or two maps I haven't even gotten to play yet and I'm at like level 25.

All I know is it said I had 3.9 GB available when I installed disc 2, and it installed completely with some mb's to spare.

Disc 2 is the only disc that is "required" to be installed, only if you want multiplayer...and who doesn't?

Im thinking about putting mine on normal. Im on that big dump truck level on legendary and its stupd hard. I have a legendary halo ego but as ive got older dying every few minutes or having to bs my way through a level is getting dull. Might save legendary till i team up with others.

Not really. It helps to have an idea as to the history of the series, but reading Wikipedia will do just fine.

Started the campaign last night. I don't think I've ever been more impressed with graphics in a game. I mean I'm honestly blow away Everytime i turn on my Xbox.
