Re: Halo 4
As a Big Team Battle lover I am glad that they basically evened up the maps between Slayer and BTB Slayer. In Reach and Halo 3 I remember the limited amount of maps you got to play. Now its basically like 50/50 instead of 25/75 slayer to btb slayer maps ratio.PS4 Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/candyman5os

I haven't played MP yet, but I imagine once the Forge creators start making maps, we'll eventually see some custom maps enter the playlists.Xbox LIVE GT: oALEXtheGREATo

Re: Halo 4
I can count on 1 hand the number of Forge maps that have been any good since its inception in Halo 3. I think the worse thing 343 could do is add a bunch of Forge maps into matchmaking. A couple months after Reach's release, I remember playing more Forge maps than the maps that shipped on the disc, and that sucked. Of course the big problem there was the lack of BTB maps. Also, while looking at Halo 4's launch playlists, there's certainly some additional stuff that could be added (SWAT, which oddly enough has never been a launch playlist in any Halo). But Halo 2's streamlined playlists were perfect and subsequent Halo's started to have to many playlists, which fragmented the community to much.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: Halo 4
I can't get enough of campaign mode right now. I haven't even ventured into online yet. Partially because I dont know where in the menu's to go in order to access it. lol However, the story line, the cut scenes, the fighting and gameplay in campaign have had me deeply invested in this time. I'm probably just under 3/4's of the way through it (I know, that's it. I don't have as much free time to play as I used to) and I just love it. I haven't even finished it and I'm already ready to go back and play through it again. A friend and I are going to play as far through it as we can on the weekend in co-op mode too.Miami Dolphins - Detroit Red Wings - Toronto Blue Jays - Michigan Wolverines - CANADAComment

Re: Halo 4
Me and my buddies got on for some 4 vs 4 in capture the flag last night. DAMN this game is a blast. White walls also ended joining us right before I got off, we had a nice game going.
Active Camo is BEAST now! Since so many people rely on the map to keep track of where enemies are, crouching and moving slow can do some damage. I would sprint till I hit their base, then I would crouch and go invisible which then throws up fake contacts on the map. I would get the drop on enemy after enemy, then would take the flag and bounce out back to our base. If one of our other team mates managed to get the flag, I would follow them then go camo when the enemy was closing in. It was easy pickings!
I don't think the Camo would be great on every type of game mode but for capture the flag it was doing work last night! Combining the active camo, storm rifle for close QCB, plasma nades, and faster shield recharge is my current loadout.
For the record, I LOVE HALO 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Halo 4
Campaign : Loving it so far. I am not a great Halo player. But I wanted to try to beat this game at Heroic, as any less seems sort of cheap. I'm dead constantly. But I think it will make me a better player in the long run. Graphics are amazing. The cut scenes are crazy good. I am enjoying the story. Almost done with Chapter 2. I'm having a blast.
War Games : I am having more with with this than I have any Halo game since the original. Reach multiplayer was never fun to me. I never knew the maps as well as others, this means they knew where are the drops were. I had my AR ... they had sniper rifles. I never stood a chance. I like the loadouts. I like being able to customize to things that I am better at using, gives me a fighting chance. I'm safely right in the 50% area in most of my games. This keeps it fun while I get used to the controls.
Spartan Ops : When my buddies start playing this, I think it will be a blast. I like the idea, hope it works./bdComment

Re: Halo 4
About an hour into the campaign. It's awesome so far. Confused by the commercials and what is actually happening in the very early part of the game. Can't wait to see where the hell I am/what is actually happening.Michigan WolverinesChicago White SoxComment
