Ok, went though an area and it made mincemeat out of a badass constructor and a badass WAR loader. This thing is almost too good against big tough enemies. The only thing the constructor was able to do was create a turret and the War loader only got off one shot as I stood there mesmerized by it unfolding and popping out those cannons.

Anybody playing as Zero get to a somewhat high level yet, talking 30+ or so? I have a level 14 Zero at the moment, and overall I like the uniqueness of the character, but he seems a little underperformed. Does he become more a force at a high level, particulary in coop?

I'm a level 27 Zer0, focused on sniping skills, and I'm not having any serious troubles. I haven't played co-op, but I'd imagine as a sniper it would be just as effective as single player.

Started the True Vault Hunter mode tonight. That thing is no joke. It's a good thing I beat the Warrior a few times trying to get guns, because had I started it when I first beat him I would have NO chance.

My Zer0 is about to roll over to 27 tonight and he is not underwhelming at all. It took me till about 23ish to really feel like he was fleshed out enough. I'm on my 4th respec, shotgun/melee build, and am totally happy hitting criticals for mass damage (hit one for 12k last night).

Weapon drops may have to do with why he feels like he's under performing. Finding that one badass gun works wonders.

I grew tired of Borderlands and traded it in but at level 37 my Zero was pretty badass even in true vault hunter mode. But that mode gets so damn hard so fast. And playing that mode co-op is almost torture.

I grew tired of Borderlands and traded it in but at level 37 my Zero was pretty badass even in true vault hunter mode. But that mode gets so damn hard so fast. And playing that mode co-op is almost torture.

Already burned out huh?

I play sporadically with my son (we're only level 15 on our current run with our new characters) and we're having a blast.

I have this rifle that shoots rocket like projectiles (odd) and a corrosive SMG for robot mobs.

Mabster is spot on in saying that "Finding that one badass gun works wonders."
