I really wish they would re-release this on the new consoles and let us import the saves associated with our Live/PSN account. I'm pretty much done with my 360 but I still wanna play this.

Not sure how I missed this game when it came out...but holy smokes is it good!! The guns are great, the enemies are great, the music is great, Handsome Jack is great... Best game I've played since Red Dead Redemption... I enjoy it so much that I am also going to buy the new Vita bundle just to play it on the go... Big applause for the developers. And they're still providing DLC 18 months after it was released.

This completes your Borderlands 2 experience. Last piece of DLC. Bravo to 2k and Gearbox, I've never seen a game as well supported as this one was with post-release content.

Now get to work on Borderlands 3.
          Gearbox says no.

they may say no but you got to figure it is their cash cow so some pre-production has to be in the works.

This was so much fun and imo better than the first one. I will have to say my favorite vault hunter where Maya. Her phaselock was so damn good. I started playing as Zero but later maxed out all the other characters. All of the hunters are pretty damn good and plus the game was fun to play. Whether it was with friends or by yourself. The stuff that happen was sad when Roland Died and Bloodwing, but it added on to the story which was nice. Only played through the first 4 DLC and had a blast. Wonder how the new borderlands would do. They are probably making it to have to make the true next gen borderlands amazing and bigger. The raid bosses where fun to play also.

My favorite legendary was the Unkempt Harold.

Hey fellas just purchased the game of the year edition. I have a question can this games looting, shooting, and story be enjoyed without having to constantly grind before missions?

If I move along steadily completing missions and side quests will I level up appropriately?

                Thanks

I never had a problem with that. There's always plenty of side quests to do if you need a level or two before the next story mission.

Yeah I've skipped many side quests just cause I didn't want to completely out level the story missions

Thanks and that's good to hear. I like the premise of the series, but would get tired of grinding out quests to move forward.

The game will tell you what level each mission is for in the menu screen when you're looking at your mission list. So if you have a mission that's for level 18 and you're a 16, you might get smoked. If the mission is for 18 and you're a 25, you'll clobber everyone.

Do everything at the appropriate level or above and it isn't usually all that difficult.

You could beat the game just by playing the story mission but you will miss out on a lot of fun mission. It not a game where you have to grind. Also the more players you play with the easier loot is to get. Yeah doing mission would level you up fine.

Also if you save the side mission until you beat the main story then they level up to 50 for the first playthough, 61 for the second and 72 for the last. Some of the weapons you get from them are pretty nice.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you recommend completing the story first and then go through the side missions and DLC.

Something else that hasn't been mentioned, depending on what class you're playing, the game is gear dependent almost more so then level dependent. If you don't get good drops you could be over leveled for an area but if you're under geared every area will be harder.

The game does this weird thing in were it scaled the side mission weapons to the max level of the playthough your on. You could do the mission for the levels but if you want the weapons to be higher levels then don't accept them. Not sure if they changed it or kept it the same.

You could do the DLC anytime but to me it fit the story better if you do it after the main story.

Starting another playthough with a Siren on this.
