Love it!!

Best 3rd/1st person shooter I have ever played. The graphics are great and so is the gameplay.

The shooting in 1st person is tricky at first but once you get the hang of it it's brilliant.

Love how plain and simple the menus are and how quick the game loads in between. I have the Xbox version btw.

Switching weapons and other items is done so by moving the digital pad or click on the right analog stick and selecting item. The controls are good but can get tricky at times and moving your character. The left is to move your character, and the right stick is to move the camera.

So far it's a great game. Reminds me of Dead to Rights.

Okay I've got 3 guys under my command now. I'm on the fire station level. I raised flags at both the Fuel station and the Hotel.

Now its time for the fire station and taking out the bridge. Shoud I have more than 3 guys at this point? I have a feelng I may have missed out on some Charisma Points for some reason?

Man! This game is so methodical. when you've only got 4 guys goin against a hundred or more russian troops...you really gain ground slowly. Even though the gameplay is non-linear( meaning there are tons of different ways to accomplish a task)...sometime you have to go right at em.


The best way I could describe this approach is "HEAT". I'm sure you guys have seen the movie HEAT before and know the scene where the guys are in that serious gunfight with the cops where they have keep moving forward...well thats how this game is. AWESOME!!!

Rented this game on Saturday and I love it. I knew going in what this game would be like after playing Conflict Desert Storm. The only minor problem I have is that after a mission is done and I used a quick save, my stats come up wrong. It looked like my stats only got counted after I used the quick save. Very minor problem IMO though. Great game play and good graphics make this game a joy to play.

After playing Freedom Fighters you should check out Conflict Desert Storm. It's the same squad based tactical kind of game. I think the new one comes out this week or next.

There are three other guys and yourself, but it is different, because each guy is a specialist in a certain area. There is a leader (your character), sniper, heavy weapons, and a demolitions expert. You are also not restricted to playing your character. You can switch to be any character throughout the mission. Another big difference is your team gets better as you complete missions.
