The simple solution to your problem is don't buy games on release day; wait a month or two after they come out, and they will drop to $30-$40.

As a plus, the game will probably have a patch or two out by then.

I'll catch up on most releases later on when they are cheaper. I just bought Dues Ex and buying Madden on Tuesday. Gears of War 3 is the only other day one releases.

The older I get the need to buy a game right away fades.

ha I can see skyrim alone not allowing you to see daylight for a quite a few Novembers. Your list is similar to mine, but I don't have Assassin's Creed Revelations in the mix, either it's going to be Rage, Uncharted, Dark Souls, or Arkham City. But I'm more likely leaning towards Rage because I haven't played Demon's Souls or Arkham Asylum yet, or finished the second installment of uncharted.

The good news is I have some credit stockpiled at Gamestop and a little at Amazon to where my wallet won't take a huge hit, however a good deal of that credit will be used up for Deus Ex in a few hours. I can't really remember a fall videogame season so cluttered with must play or interesting games, I guess it's more power to the consumer or maybe more damage to the good ole bank account depending on the way you look at it.

Arkham City and Bloodrayne Betrayal. Bloodrayne is actually out on tuesday,I figure it's best to wait until the Steam Halloween sale. That'll probably work for Arkham City as well. Unless they have a pre-order sale on Arkham City,then it'd probably be about the same.

Saints Row 3,AC Revalations and NFS The Run. All released on the same day. Though after the new Origin scandal I might skip NFS if I have to use that.
