    Re: NES/SNES Gaming Thread

Luckily for me, most of my old games work.

I decided to break out my Nintendo 64 and play it. I've been having a blast with NFL Blitz, WWF War Zone, WWF No Mercy, among others.

I have War Zone's sequel (Attitude) coming in a few days.

I have a small collection of N64 games that I would like to expand upon in the near future.

On the subject of No Mercy, the damn Survival Mode is a bitch!

I got eliminated at 39:57 by a weak pin after having eliminated 57 guys.

        Re: NES/SNES Gaming Thread

So in the last 2 years, I've learned a lot about retro games. I've been collecting at a good pace, and learning about fun rare games I never knew existed until recently. It's becoming quite addictive for me, but I've been reselling games (mostly doubles) to fund my collection. These pics are several months out of date, and now my games take up 2 of these shelves lol. Been a lot of fun obtaining the games of my childhood and much more

First pic is sideways for some reason...

True, I only have about 20 DC games. More focused on NES and SNES right now.

That is awesome. I wish I had kept my old games/systems. Aside from the NES, they are all gone

Any tips on where to look for games/consoles? I'd love to pick up a SNES (never owned one), Genesis (had this instead), N64 and PSOne.

Flea markets, yard/garage sales, ebay, craigslist.

Roommate has a SNES in the living room, got some solid games for it but need to find Super Mario RPG and Zelda. My uncle used to keep one at our cabin to play with so hoping I can snag those 2 games next time

What Mo said, I go hunting at the local pawn shops and used cd stores multiple times a week. Craigslist has good deals occasionally, but 9 times out of 10 it's not worth the trouble. Ebay is also great, along with a few NES-themed sites I buy/sell/trade on.

You mean your uncle still has the system at your cabin? Do you remember what games he all had for it? If he was the type to play Mario RPG and LttP, he might have some really valuable items.

That collection is insane. It rivals the collect my cousins have in their collectibles store in town.
