    Re: Jurassic Park The Game

I just finished up the first episode and I'm digging the game so far. I like that they keep the storyline and action moving at a steady pace. QTE-based games are a cool change from the typical action/adventure genre. I know it's not for everybody, but I don't mind them at all. Hopefully the rest of the game can keep my interest. Episode 1 didn't take very long, so I'm not anticipating this taking very long to complete. So far, so good.

Man, I played through the first Dino Crisis recently, and I think it may be the best Jurassic Park game even though it doesn't have the license. The raptor animation and AI is just unbelievable in Dino Crisis.

Capcom even put a line in there where one of the characters says, "this is just like that one movie!"

Dreamcast version is the best (that's the one I played), but I hear the PS1 version can be found on the PSN store for like $6.

I never checked out Dino Crisis. Didn't the cover have a chick with red hair?

I'm in the final act of Jurassic Park and I'm still enjoying the game. I'm not sure why it's gotten such a bad rap. There are some sound glitches here and there, and occasionally my controller doesn't respond when I have to press up on the analog stick, but despite those things it's been fun. The story and characters have made me want to keep playing and the action has been pretty cool. I haven't died very often, but some of the deaths are absolutely hilarious.
