Havent bought many games this year. Broke Phi Broke WE AINT GOT IT!
Madden 12: I'm just tired of playing the same game every year. They need to scrap and revolutionize that series for the sake of creativity now. They are obviously uninspired at their work and I would be too working on the same damn game every year. Kudos for the fellas who moved on from that dev team to expand their career.
NCAA 12: My love for college football blinds me to this game's flaws even though they are almost identical to Madden 12's. They need an all new something. Im done playing the same game. I could live with every bad game design bug glitch besides one. The random game crashing in loading screens after games. I dont waste 45 mins of my life just for the game to never have happened. Ive lost probably 20+ games in that ****ing game soley on ****ing post game freezes. That game was the epitome of BETA.
LA Noire: Hot start, sizzled out very quickly. I however was very entertained by the amazing flame war that ensued in the LA Noire thread once a few people finished it and started talking negatively about it. Soon the whole board jumped on the "this game aint ****" train. Rockstar Games doesnt take the blame for this one though. Pretty sure they saved what would be an abomination of a wasted development.
Assasin's Creed Brotherhood. When did that game come out? All I know is that it was lame as hell. Zero gameplay change from you protagonist. They added a vapid RPG clan thing and an underwhelming online mode. When will they stop dicking around and make a present day assassin's creed. Ubisoft sucks ***.Comment

I think I just found mine: RAGE.
I am early in so maybe it gets better with some better guns, but so far its just tedious. It does look pretty though.
Luckily, it was a Gamestop used purchase. I'll give it a few more days, but this one is probably going back.Comment

Runner up:
LA Noire: Great facial technology and a fun ride. But linear outcomes no matter what you mess up on the investigation side made it stale and not worth replaying. Wasted open world except for the side missions where Cole was involved in more homicides than the main stories Villian. I should have rented it.
Winner:
Dragon Age 2: Take everything you liked about the Original and remove it. Add voice and conversation wheel but remove different endings. Characters were likable but not memorable. There were some great moments but nothing awe-inspiring like in Origins.Comment

NCAA 12. The entire patch process and fiasco was mismanaged from the start and many issues were not fixed. Simply put, the game wasn't ready when it was released. Coaching Progression was flawed, the player tendency issue was never fixed with recruits, 3D grass wasn't there during live play, and online dynasty was a mess.
Not to mention only 1 tuner was released. This was by far the most frustrating NCAA on current gen.GT: Herkyalert

It was there in replays, but the field looks worse during play in 12 than it did in 11. 3D Grass was supposed to be included this year according to EA. Maybe they only meant during replays...lolGT: Herkyalert

Madden for me. Every year this generation they give us features that we had in past Maddens.
The presentation is still terrible, commentary is the worst it has ever been, and even the basic rules and challeges aren't represented correctly. The camera is to far away so you never get to enjoy the graphics. Playing franchise is like being stuck in an elevator now because you feel like your all alone (newspapers, other scores, MVP races boil down to reading menus).
The draft is the only thing that keeps me coming back.
I know that the designers work hard but EA doesn't increase their budget because they don't have to. What would NFL2k12 look like....? And if NFL2k12 was here what would Madden 12 look like?
Madden is the most disappointing game for me this year. So sad....Comment

Battlefield 3
- Terrible campaign, nothing new, same old America good guys Muslims bad guys crap.
- Online full of guys running about with those pain in the *** flashlights (if i want flashlights i'll play Alan Wake)
Yesterday i wasn't so bothered by the game, i thought it was ok but the more i play the more i cant be bothered with it. I am actually thinking of trading it in.

NCAA '12 is hands down the biggest disappointment to me. I probably have all the same complaints as others so no need for me to beat a dead kangaroo.
