Skyrim will own your soul seriously. It's one of those games that you will start playing, exploring or messing around and look up at your clock and see it's 8 hours later. I can't count how many times i have started trekking towards a quest destination, discover a new cave or hideout, decide to pop in to check it out and end up getting pulled completely away from my original objective. The game is that big. I'm level 32 and have barely moved the main quest along.

Funny, I'm 55 hours in on the PS3 and, since I deleted like 80 saves which solved a framerate issue, it's been surprisingly glitch free for a Bethesda RPG.Comment

I'm on PC.
25 hours in and only a few CTD's.
I save often(overwriting about 10 rotating saves) and have had very few bugs/glitches compared to other RPG's.
FWIW.

Just because it didn't happen to YOU doesn't mean it didn't happen: http://kotaku.com/5859983/do-not-let...-ps3/gallery/1
Even with that patched there's still a lot more than needs patching.Comment

Re: Skyrim vs Batman (for christmas) Which one?!?
Skyrim by a landslide.
It really depends if you want a game you beat in 10-20 hours or one you can put 100+ hours into and still be playing in 6 months time. No doubt Batman is awesome but when it comes down to value for money Skrim is about as good as it gets.
Fwiw I never had any issues whatsoever with the ps3 version and the patch was released to fix the issues today anyway....Comment
