When COD4 came onto the scene I fell in love. I loved the heck out of that game.
Then when World at war drop I gave it a shot, but the game did not do it for me.
I then continued to play COD4 till MW2 dropped. That was 2 years straight of playing COD4.
When MW2 dropped I played it hard for the entire year. The game was very unbalanced and glitchy galore, but I did not have so many WTF moments. I was able to handle the unbalanced game and glitches.
Then Black Ops drop. I was weary about it because it is Treyarch, and I was never too impressed with them. Well they wheeled me in because Black ops to me was a extremely balanced game. They did a great job booting cheaters, and listening to their fans.
They made quick scoping more of a skill. They corrected the last stand situation as to other trying to steal your kills. They made really nice game modes. Many that people were not that aware of, and provided a ton of new maps.
The gun game, one in a chamber, bare bones, Mercenary mosh pit, combat training, contracts, emblems for your weapons, are some of the nice things they added to the game.
Black Ops really did it for me and I loved it.
Then MW3 drops. Now I don't need to drag this on, but I have a WTF moment so many times in this game. It is insane.
The maps all pretty much feel the same. This lag compensation is a huge killer. Now I will state the new game modes like Team defender and kill confirm are nice, but the game is not giving me that high level of excitement I received when playing Black ops.
Today just for the heck of it I popped in Black Ops, and that game played so much better than MW3, and the maps were much more enjoyable. I was doing my thing and had zero wtf moments. I died when I was suppose to, and killed when I was suppose to. It felt GREAT!!!
Black ops I will play for another year just like I did with COD4. I will continue to play this till Treyarchs next installment.
