I ditched Black Ops before I even reached my first prestige.

It was cool customizing scopes and guns, but beyond that, nothing impressed me. While I always dominated on Nuketown, It got old very quick and the maps just didn't seem very well thought out. I never played any map packs or expansions, so I don't know if that holds true for those either..

The same maps + dieing by the same gun/combination over and over ruined the game for me and It's by far my least favorite COD game. It really turned me off of the franchise completely and for the first time in years, I didn't buy the latest edition of COD, even if a completely different team developed it.

Don't let me rain on your parade, though... if you enjoy it.. awesome.
Just another example of how each game is perceived differently by each gamer..

It had some of the best maps in the COD series. Treyarch has always been better than IW at map design.

Yeah I was the same way until they finally patched the AK-74u. That thing was ridiculous. The maps were great though, MW3 leaves a bad taste in my mouth for map design and overpowered weapons. Atleast Black ops only had one.

BLOPs had some good and some bad maps. None of them were GREAT. And two of them were just terrible, Radiation and the one with the rocket launch.

MW3 is about the same map wise but Lockdown is on my all-time COD great maps list along with a lot of the MW1 and MW2 maps.

I agree with the rocket launch one, but Radiation was fine. I thought blops maps were some of the GOAT. Pretty much every snow map was great with Array being up there with anything that's been in a COD game ever, IMO of course. So many ways to play that map.
