MP DLC coming to in the first half of 2014...

Looks like there will be four new maps coming in October. They noted this in the 2nd paragraph. I think I will probably go ahead and pick up the season pass for 19.99.

We’ve been hard at work making the DLC content for The Last of Us – and I know that all our Season Pass holders are eagerly waiting for any updates or news. Today, we’re revealing the first of three Season Pass DLC drops: the Abandoned Territories Map Pack.

Weather the opposing Faction and the random, dynamic dust storm on the Suburbs map. Explore a layered map of an overgrown urban environment with wild giraffes in the background in the Bus Depot map. Stalk around in a dark, eerie, moonlit, environment – the perfect setting for some serious stealth – in the Hometown map. Bookstore features a stacked, bi-level layout adding a highly unique dose of vertical gameplay. Excited yet? These maps will be available October 15.

Yeah, I got season pass on the first day. Glad that they will be making use of it.

I was beginning to wonder if it was a waste of money.

yeah.. bummed about the single player announcement. My PS3 will be long gone by "December/January"..

Four New MP Maps

These four maps – Bookstore, Hometown, Bus Depot, and Suburbs – will collectively launch on October 15th. These maps come bundled together for $9.99, though you can download them for free if you have a Season Pass. Unfortunately, the map pack doesn’t come packing new Trophies.

I played on all four maps with the team at Naughty Dog and came away with some thoughts on each, which you can read below. Brand-new imagery is also interspersed throughout the write-ups. If you want to see higher-res images of the new maps, simply click here.

No it isn't haha. I will change it soon.


The four maps are all pretty nice. Suburbs is my favorite. I will try to get some gameplay up this weekend and post here.

I was going to wait until a BF sale on this but picked up a used copy on eBay this morning. Should I attempt this on normal or easy? Not looking to just run through the game.
