Pretty upset with myself for waiting all the way until now to finish this game. I bought it at launch, played a few hours, then never got back into it. Just finished it a few days ago and also just completed the Left Behind DLC.

So much to love about this game. The story, the characters, voice acting, music, sound design/sound effects, the attention to detail, on and on and on. It's one of those games where the story was so good that it left me thinking about it days after finishing it. I love it when games or movies can do that. I was so wrapped up in the story and completely invested emotionally.

I liked Uncharted 1 and 2, but thought Uncharted 3 was a disappointment. This game blows away Uncharted in my opinion. Simply phenomenal.

The Last of Us was praised for its strong story and now the PlayStation 3 action game is getting a movie adaptation. Before you shrug your shoulders or roll your eyes, consider the talent behind the project.

Naughty Dog creative director Neil Druckmann will write the script for the film, according to Deadline's exclusive story. And Naughty Dog co-presidents Evan Wells and Christophe Balestra, as well as game director Bruce Straley, are also involved. Veteran Naughty Dog writer Amy Hennig recently left the company, though it's unknown if she'll contribute to the film.

And way I think that girl from Kickass be a perfect fit for ellies demeanor. Not sure who else it could be.

The question is: Do you want another typical American mainstream movie?If not then:
Director-> Vinterberg
Male Role-> Mads Mikkelsen
Female Role-> Felicity Jones

Focusing on characters and their relations instead of over-the-top action will make a better film imo.

The page remark was a joke due to all the media attention there was about her and the game.

I still stand by John Goodman as bill though. Maybe even Will Smith and Jaden as Henry and Sam if they have them in there. Still not sure about Will though but Jaden should work.

Hugh Jackman for Joel seems to stim from Prisoners and I heard names from Brian Cranston (Not sure), Christian Bale (Eh, maybe?) and Iain Glen (As a GoT nerd I can see it). To early to tell though.

There's kind of already a The Last of Us movie, it's called The Road.

Just finished the game last night and WOW. The last time I felt this much for characters in a videogame was Mass Effect 3, and that's because that was a whole series spent with a bunch of characters that you developed relationships with throughout. This game really brought the feels along with the brutal action that comes with surviving in this world. Everything was just so top-notch and I totally agree with thaima1shu that it just sticks with you even after you finish it. I dived into some behind-the-scenes videos on YouTube right away and was reading up on a bunch of articles analyzing the game.

a potential sequel may turn out. Joel made a pretty big call at not looking at the bigger picture and clearly, Ellie has a hint of suspicion that Joel is lying. You can also just leave it as is because the ending works either way.

Gonna take a short break from the game before I purchase the Left Behind DLC. Hopefully by then, it has a price drop.

If a video on Turkish website Multiplayer is any indication, The Last of Us is coming to PlayStation 4 this summer, and it will come packing single-player DLC Left Behind.

According to NeoGAF user Quirah (via user chadskin), Sercan Sulun – PlayStation’s Eurasian Software Market Manager -- says that while a sequel to The Last of Us may not be forthcoming any time soon, the “first game will be released this summer for PS4 as a physical and digital copy, with enhanced graphics.”

If true – and it appears that it is, as Sulun is a high-ranking member of Sony that’s been with the company since August of 2012 – this would be a huge win for PS4 gamers hungry for some first party content. Other than Infamous: Second Son, Driveclub, MLB 14: The Show, and The Order: 1886, no triple-A first party games have been announced in PlayStation 4's 2014 calendar.

The Last of Us launched exclusively on PlayStation 3 in June of 2013. It is a masterpiece, and easily won IGN's 2013 Game of the Year award. Its story DLC, Left Behind, was also amazing, though it will, unfortunately, be the only piece of single-player DLC.

I really don't care for them doing this. I mean I get it and all, but how much better is the game going to play and look on PS4? I highly doubt it'll be that big of a difference at all.

I have not bought or played The Last of Us yet. I keep wanting to grab it but have been waiting on a price drop that has not happened.

So this for me is fantastic news!! I'll surely pick it up for ps4 instead.
