Re: The Last of Us (PS3)
I think its definitely worth the money. I can have a sausage, peppers and onions pizza for that price and I think the 2 hour story beats it.Comment

Re: The Last of Us (PS3)
I finally found a good chunk of time to start this game last night.
WHAT WAS I WAITING FOR???
This game, so far, is AMAZING. The opening had a bit of humor, shock, horror and sadness. I like that you jump 20 years ahead after that opening sequence. The game world feels like something out of The Running Man or something. Really desolate. Great job by the developers with conveying the message that things are a lot different post-virus (or whatever it is that has infected people, I don't know for sure yet).
I really had to force myself to save the game and put the controller down. I could've easily played for another 2-3 hours. Still, I logged 2.5 hours into this game and enjoyed every minute of it.
I have to laugh with these Naughty Dog games and the ledge-climbing, though. Seems like no matter where the characters go, there's always a spot where you have to boost your partner up a wall or find a way to climb up a ledge. The gameplay certainly has an Uncharted feel to it in terms of gunplay and just the general movement, but I can tell that this game is going to make me think a lot more about how I attack enemies, as you are not going to just magically regain energy like you do in Uncharted, and it looks like those health packs aren't going to be in large supply.
I'm definitely looking forward to getting back in front of the TV and PS3 later this evening to play this game again. I figure an hour or so a night until I complete the game.Currently Playing:

Re: The Last of Us (PS3)
This is good news and bad! First let me start by saying this has to be the best game I've played ever, and I've been gaming since frigging Pong back in the 70's! The good news is this game was so good and looked absolutely gorgeous on PS3 I can't imagine what it will be like on the PS4! I am sooooo tempted to get this but with the Show Dropping in the beginning of May and Watchdogs at the end I will not have enough time for this which is the bad news. I might have to wait and get it cheaper at the end of summer.Playstation Network:That70s_Gamer

So excited. I traded this game in when I got my PS4 at launch. A part of me died when i did that. Now, I am revived.Comment

I did the same when I got my PS4... I didn't get very far in the PS3 version... Definitely thinking about picking this up in June... Sounds like too good of a game to pass up.Milwaukee Brewers | Green Bay Packers | North Carolina Tar Heels | Wisconsin BadgersComment

This game was so good it made it impossible for me to replay. It definitely wasn't a 'enjoy on a Sunday afternoon' relaxing type of game. Took so much out of me!Comment

Re: The Last of Us (PS3)
My one hope, please let survivor difficulty be available from the start on PS4.
I'm a little past halfway on Survivor on PS3 version on my second play through, but I don't want to have to beat it again on normal/hard just to unlock it again.
