There are no codes, the game disc is the 'code' - the TLoU demo is what they call a disc benefit, which you add (activate) to your psn account and unlocks the demo in the PS store for download. So he should be able to redeem the disc benefit when the demo becomes available. Unless they send special disc to kiosk, which I don't think so, especially if he sees the menu link on his rental disc.

i guess ill have to wait until psn releases the demo next week or whenever but i will try it out. then ill make my decision on weather i pick it up now or down the road. really hoping they kept most the things i liked.

It's live, but it keeps telling me that an error has occurred. Probably due to the amount of people trying to download this at once.

And the playstation store is undergoing maintenance.

I'm pretty upset that this is only for playstation. I'll have to watch it on YouTube or something. Does anyone know if this will have a sequel? Seems like a story that wouldn't have more than one game

That they are bringing the engine over to PS4 seems like a good indication you might see more from Last of Us.

This game is going to be amazing! So many different ways to approach things. Intense too.


For the record. Once you download The Last of Us demo, you no longer need the disk. So if you want to do like me and rent GoW you can and no longer need it to play.

Yep. That's what I've been saying last few posts. I did the exact thing you mentioned. Good thing is, once downloaded, you no longer need the disk.
