they do sometimes. i have also had Ellie give up our position and have the enemies come rushing at us.

now that i think about, Humans will spot her. the infected does not.

I dunno, my companions never gave away my cover and there were times when they were right next to enemies, right in their face, making a ton of noise, and in plain sight.

It was a smart design choice in not having them give you away, but in such a detailed immersive game that one thing did break the immersion several times for me. But in hindsight, I'll take that over aggravation of crappy AI giving away your position.

Getting a little nervous, in the stats section it shows that Ive collected 53 collectibles but I save and then go to load game and it only shows 52, when I had 52 I did the same thing and the save file only showed 51, its as if the game isnt counting one even though in the stats section its counting it, anyone heard of a glitch at all with this? Was really searching for things and have found a lot but dont wanna lose my progress because its not counting some random one, of which Ill have no idea what it was in the first place.

FedEx was supposed to deliver this today but instead of leaving on my doorstep, like they do for every other package I've ever had shipped here, they are withholding delivery and will attempt again tomorrow. I shouldn't even be typing this right now. I should be playing.

Got the game today. First 3-4 hours have been fantastic. I am really loving everything about the game so far. Can't wait to get some more time in.

Ellie got me again, in a new way. She's tricky.

Was in an area with two clickers. Using listening I watched #1 for a while to learn his pattern. Had it figured out and moved up near a doorway he'd always come up to and then turn around and walk far away. Sat there to study #2 in the opposite direction. I figured out my next move I panned over to make sure #1 wasn't outside the doorway or in the nearby hallway. Nope coast was clear, just Ellie standing right at the threshold of the doorway.

Cool. Exited the room into the hallway only to be made lunch out of by Mr. #1. I guess Ellie's silhouette completely screened the clicker that was just chillin on the other side of the wall behind her.

Well played Ellie. Well played.

Making comebacks when you're the last man standing on survivors mode has to be one of the best feelings ever I also like how this game really makes me feel the pressure... I beat it once and I know where everything is now but it is still tense as hell, love it

Man, this game does a good job of "pacing" when it comes to story and action. Atmosphere is just really well done. I find myself creeping my way through buildings and "listening" at every door.

, and loved Ellie's interactions. Really loved what happened before that. Well done, and was one of my "Oh... !#$@" moments.

Really taking my time with this game, as I want to try and find as much stuff as possible and just enjoy the journey. This game is like a "fine wine". Sit back, sip, and enjoy. Don't chug it like a pint of MD 20/20.
