Your right it is the samething, and sometimes I will choose calling it TV lag or the rubberband effect.

Yea man my Vizio had the gamemode, and it improved bigtime, but it still was not a tight as my other sets.

man that Vizio looked great, oh well.

The video quailty on that Vizio hands down is better than the phillips, and the phillips looks great.

The 3d effect looks awesome on it also, just for some reason the controls were not as tight as the Phillips or my Samsung
This is interesting because I have gotten frustrated with MP in shooters cause I swear I am pumping some dude full of lead, but he doesn't die and kills me instead. Happened a lot in Uncharted 3. I will have to look into this.

Yes with a lot of the HDTVs if you do not disable or enable a certain feature you will get TV lag, and it will effect your performance in a game pretty bad.

I have a really nice tv too and it's actually helped me a little, but the tv still can't overcome my mediocrity and reflexes LOL.

A few guys on the boards here helped me pick out a new T.V. and they even talked me into purchasing my first Plasma. I had no idea that the response time was going to improve but it defintely did.

I have not had one person deny that there is a obvious difference between my Sony SXRD 60 inch DLP and my 42 inch Panasonic Plasma while playing MLB: The show or any FPS. A few have said it made a difference in Madden and 2k11 but they weren't as obvious IMO.

                  I've never heard about this.

This must explain why I've been so bad in BF3.

                  Yeah right. I just stink.

How big is your set? I hear the biger the tv the more problematic it is for gaming.

I have experienced it personally. I have a 56 inch in the living room, and I perform much better on my 32 and 40 inch over the 56".

I have the same issue with the opening post. I used to game on a 24" monitor and played much much better in shooters or MLB the show. I made the permanent switch to a 55" Sony and i can tell the difference. I just enjoy the comfort of playing on a big screen then a tiny gaming monitor. I still play games pretty well with a slight delay, so I'm comfortable at where I'm at. Some of you guys may have played with me whether it was call of duty or battlefield, and I'm always calling out some of my deaths as BS... This is why.. I used to play competitively with a clan, but I had to drop out because I could no longer perform at their level. I do still play with them in public matches though.

If I had to pick a size to play on. I would go with a 32". I currently play on a 40" , but my best numbers were on a 32" or smaller.

So with a 50 inch plasma you are saying that we are at a disadvantage due to lag and there is no way to fix it?
