Nobody knows, but if I had to make a guess, I would say October/November 2005.

Hmm..it may be sooner than that. I believe PS3 is going to be unveiled for the first time at the next E3. Usually when that happens, its released near the end of the year.

I do know that SEVERAL companies have started development on the first wave of PS3 games. Since games usually take around 18 months to make (not counting sports games, of course), my guess would be around that time.

Best bet is very late 2005 to sometime in 2006. It will be an intresting race to see which company can get their next gen console out first.
