Best bet is very late 2005 to sometime in 2006. It will be an intresting race to see which company can get their next gen console out first.

Yeah, wow, I just read over at ps3insider.com (good looking site by the way) that this is their best estimate.

Over two years to make a game? Wow, do I have a lot to look forward to.

Its all good though.

The president of Treyarch told me a few months ago that one of the focuses of the next generation of consoles will include quicker ways of implementing motion blur which should make you animation hounds happy because it means less choppy and much smoother sequences.

Yeah, wow, I just read over at ps3insider.com (good looking site by the way) that this is their best estimate.

Id' agree with everyone one here, probably around my senior year (2005-2006). I hope it's compatible with PS2 and 1 games.

That's a given as Sony was wise to implement Backward Compatibility, something that I bet MS applies with XBOX-NEXT.

Actually, nvm about PS1 games, just see if they can remake some of them. They had that for the PS2 (with the PS1 games) but the ones that had better graphics on the PS1 were jaggy as hell on the PS2.
