15mb download speed compared to around 300mb is a large difference.

Also has more to do with latency and ping times. Seeing yours would be much slower than mine, that's where the lag compensation comes from.

So no, I don't imagine you would be experiencing it like I am.

My bad I meant to say lightning not Turbo. I'm at 40mb. When I had their basic at 10mb I didn't notice a difference. Unless this is strictly a problem for those of you with 300mb an up.

I experience the whose bullet curving crap. Running behind a wall an still dying stuff etc.

I have a simple question. Why keep playing? When that stuff happens I just turn it off.

And again, it's Ping/Latency that determines the severity of the lag comp. Your connection is probably more towards the norm now and won't see such a drastic effect.

Me on the other hand, I don't know too many people who have FIOS or even have it available in their area.

I just played for 5mins an turned it off. Was getting pissed lol. Yes I want Fios but It's not in my area.

This is exactly why I think online games should have requirements for how fast your Internet has to be in order to play. It seems more and more online that gamers with poor connection actually have an advantage over players with good connections. It's almost not fair. Tried playing 20 games today and lagged in every single one. Didn't even go positive. this was with the "best" search mind you. Something needs to be done.

I don't think it's that simple. It's more to do with the game itself, instead of everyone's connections.

I'm not saying various connections don't cause the lag compensation, because it does. I'm just saying you could hop in a game with dedicated servers or really any sports game and shooter and only get 1.5-2.0 mb/s and the game would play smoothly.

It's a flaw within the design of the game.

It's a flaw in their Network Coding for Online multiplayer.

I've been fortunate to not have as bad Lag issues as some of the posters here, however yesterday I was in a lobby where the Host was so bad that the game would Pause for 2 seconds, then my character would skip to the right and this would continue to happen for the entire game. I checked the scoreboard just for giggles and everyone but the Host was jumping between 3-4 green bars to 1 red bar every few seconds.

The only reason I didn't quit out was because I joined when the game was almost over, and they put me on the winning team so I figured might as well stay on for the Win, but that was just awful, backed out of that lobby right afterwards.

prestiged 3 times in the first 2 weeks and was loving it i have 10000 kills and 4100 deaths and never had a problem at ALL until i had the first setting update and letsjust say i have only gone up 10 levels in 2 weeks and 2 days ago was another setting update and it has gotten even worse. I have amazing internet, never lagged at all until they did a setting update. but i will say this its only fun to play with a party and not worry about going positive lol. playing by myself sucks everyone hacks my carepackages on my own team and playing with randoms are terrible.

I've been having a blast since switching my connection preferences back to Best. Gunfights are actually fair now. I die about 50/50 up close.

I made the switch to the FAL yesterday, and man, what a beast. I don't even have select fire unlocked, but it's so powerful even at range. Had my best game of kill confirmed yet with it going 29-6. I also do better with the iron sights for some reason.

Also finally prestiged for the first time. Took long enough . Now to work on some gold camo's. I'm close with the 870. Just need to get 5 more bloodthirsty medals and 6 more revenge kills with it. The range isn't as good as it was pre patch, but its still effective close range.

The Chaos Moshpit was how I got those bloodthirsty medals for getting gold on the 870. Hide near their spawn on nuketown and hope you get lucky!

Woah tonight was pathetic first it took 20 minutes to find a game because it kept saying error modifying session then when we got in we lagged straight to the menus. finally got in a game and my LSAT took almost 30-40 bullets to kill someone when it usually only takes just a few since i have FMJ on it. also people were blasting me with a shotgun with one shot and mine i was shooting countless times with no kills at all needless to say i quit playing after trying only 4 games. i have a feeling i have wasted time ranking up because if this keeps happening im done with COD and will still to playing battlefield and gears of war for as long as they make games

Connection issues all over the place tonight. I'm rocking the B23R and tearing people up with it.
