One thing I've never understood is getting gold camo on a gun and only using that gun. I mean yeah you have used it a ton good for you, now work on gold camo on something else.

So how is it to prestige in this game? I'm getting this game for Christmas and that is one of the things that I heard that some people aren't too happy about. Not sure why though. I don't think I'll be playing this game as much as I did with MW2&3 and the first Black Ops so I'll probably prestige once and that's it.

I personally prefer the prestige system in the game to previous cod games. Each prestige you get a permanent unlock token that you can use on any perk or weapon to have it from that point on no matter what level or prestige you are.

Also love that you can prestige the weapons.

It's only level 55 to prestige and seems to be quick to get there is you play decently.

Why should someone have to switch guns once they gold it/prestige it out?

I'm not saying they should have to, I'm just saying I don't understand the point of only using one gun ever. I mean I play the game trying to take care of all the challenges, attachments, and guns. It's just more fun for me to always be working towards something.

Been rocking the FAL with select fire since I unlocked it. I've got a bad feeling it's gonna get patched in the future, but i'll keep rocking it until then. I'm doing WAY better with the FAL than any other gun, as my next highest K/D with a single gun is with the PDW at 1.10, but with the FAL, it's up near 1.40. Could just be that i've gotten better, but the long range accuracy and power of the FAL make it an absolute nightmare if you can stay on target.

I still recommend that everyone adjust their search preferences to best. I know that pre-patch, it did nothing for me at all. In fact, it was worse. But since I switched it back to "best" post patch, i've had some really well played, close games of kill confirmed and domination. I've only seen a couple of kill cams that were questionable, and even then, it could have been a matter of a guy seeing where I was on the UAV and firing before he rounded the corner. I've had good games, bad games, great games, etc. And nothing feels like it's up to the connection.

Working on getting diamond camo on the shotguns, boy do I hate the semi auto one (S12? I think) I have 75 one hit kills, and I still need to 175 more of them. This is going to take forever. I already have the remington and KSG gold, and the full auto one I will do when I get back to the 50's to unlock it.

FAL is my best weapon as well. What attachments and perks do you use with it ?

Quickdraw, select fire, and fast mag.

I do really well with it on domination. With the power of the weapon at full auto combined with the knowledge that most everyone will be headed toward flag B, I usually wind up with like 5 kills and a cap on flag B at the beginning of each match.

After you select find match and you're on the playlist screen you press 'x' (square for ps3?) for search preference.

I have been using target finder, select fire and ... I forget.

What set up you using? I usually run with blind eye or hard line, Engineer and bouncing Betty and whatever can hack equipment. No secondary.

Dexterity, lightweight, Semtex for sure. I forget the rest. I only use lightweight to even the playing field speed wise, as the combination of lightweight and quickdraw give me the ability to actually get a leg up in up close battles with SMG's. Plus, I hate moving slowly to get to a choke point or a flag in domination, so lightweight is advantageous there as well.

I tried a variety of sights on the FAL, but I actually do best with the iron sights for some reason. Any other gun, I do better with reflex. I'd rather be better with irons anyways as it opens up another attachment.
