Treyarch understands what a fan base wants, they at least listen to customer complaints and try to fix on those issues. I will more than likely purchase BLOPS 2 (I also like saying BLOPS)

I agree. Treyarch didn't start off well with World at War. I maybe played that game for a couple weeks. But the change they made with Black Ops was very impressive. Modern Warfare 3 might be done for me if the DLC isn't great. The MW3 guys will always be there, but for me, I'll play the game that has the best hit detection and the game with the least lag issues. Weapons, Maps and DLC are just extras and I can deal with it. As long as the game functions how it should, I'm happy.

I am curious as to why you don't care for them? Not attacking you or anything, it just, what do you think of red dead redemption? Is that a no go due it being set in the early 20th century?

Honestly, I think IW needs to go a different direction. The Modern Warfare series is dead to me and no longer appealing. Whereas Black Ops still intrigues me and maybe has one year left of solid story lines. Modern Warfare has pleased a lot of people, but as a hardcore Call of Duty fan, I prefer Treyarchs games now. IW has really lost me because of the stupid little things they put in. Bad people are bad for a reason, don't try to make them better by giving them an edge. If they're bad, they're bad. Lag compensation is also a game killer to me.

After thinking about the CoD Series for awhile today. Before MW3 came out, I was a only MW2 player because I did not wanna go "back in time" for the Cold War or World War 2. After MW3 sucked at having reliable spawns and having major lag compensation, idk if I'mma stay in that boat much longer...

By your' standards, It won't, because you're relying on the average online gamer. I don't mean 'your standards' to be bad or an insult. I'm just going off of your comments on BF3 and unless you suck at this game, then it will be the same. I'm also assuming that you won't suck, because I've played enough shooters with you to know you're pretty good.

I'd like to give the COD series another shot, whether it's IW/Sledgehammer or Treyarch, but I just don't have much faith. I think BFBC2 and BF3 have spoiled me and I have come to expect a little more realism out of my shooters.

If they can prove to actually fix the hit detection/connection issues and do something about the knifing, I may would give the series another shot. Treyarch did a lot of things with the series that I actually enjoyed, but I still got frustrated with it after ranking up almost to my first prestige.

I also seemed to be better at BO than I've ever been at a COD game, I just didn't like some small things about the game, which seem to be issues that are re occuring. I'll reserve my judgement for the actual game, instead of bashing it several months before release.

That was mike with the average gamerkid comment lol. I played blackops for a longgggggg time. It kept my attention because the hit detection was much better which made people much better. Felt like their was more competition on blackops due to it being a better game. Mw3 is much easier. I easily have over a 2.0 kdr in mw3. Blackops not so much. That's because its a harder game imo which is a wonderful thing.

We all knew about the annual release so with out further ado: Blops 2.

Black Ops was probably one of my favorite CoD games out of them all...At least until the AK-74u and Noob tubes became rampant. Seemed like a lot of the guns were ballanced beter than most of the other games and loved the Snipers and how they were offset when zoomed in to try and prevent quickscoping.

COD4 and Black Ops were much more balanced games, and my 2 favorite. I'm very excited for Black Ops 2.

I feel Black ops 2 will be the best of the series. I really like how they listen to the community, and I read where they are not fans of the whole proficiency setup for the weapons. I agree with that big time.

MW3 is fun, but can be very fustrating also. lag comp and some very unbalanced weapons is what can ruin the experience.

Agreed brother.

COD4 had me bigtime, and I could not get into WAW. Then MW2 dropped and it started losing me with all the glitches and unbalanced game play. Death streaks and other BS. Then Blackops dropped and I loved it. I felt this game was much more balanced, and the only time I bithced ws when my connection sucked

, but that is my fault not the game.

Now MW3 with it's lag comp some very unbalanced weapons, horrible death strikes, and not the best maps of the series. Makes this the last of the bunch.

Im with you on this. I was once a IW guy now Im a Treyarch fan. Black Ops 2 will be the best of them all.

Really? My KDR was over 4 in Black Ops, and it's just hovering around 2 in MW3.

I think that MW3 is the harder game by far. With support packages, annoying secondaries, lag comp, improper weapon balancing and death streaks... It is not even close.

Thing is, MW3 doesn't get it. Trying to make the game fair for everyone actually makes it worse. Black Ops was by far a more balanced game. I knew guys who are under .50 in MW3 that were around a 1 in Black Ops. For me, MW3 is probably gone soon and battlefield will be my shooter. MW3 is a joke plain and simple.
