    Cool thanks,I'll check it out.

I did manage to get out before the storm hit,and picked this up this morning, and I gotta say.....I'm presently surprised,I actually kind of like it

It wasn't as bad as what I thought it would be, a buddy from my BF3 platoon and I played some matches, and while there were a few games where I completely stunk it up....there were more than a few I was able to hold my own.
My son also joined us for a couple of games of kill confirmed, and while he didn't do that great,it was still a fun time and well worth the $40 I payed for the game.

One of the lobbies we were in,somebody on the other team made the comment "oh look,Christmas noobs"...needless to say us "noobs" wiped the floor with their butts...my buddy and I got a good laugh out of that.

Coming from BF3,this game is definitely different....the recoil in comparison is pretty much non-existent,and I'm not really TO comfortable with the "cramped" confines of the maps, but it's not that bad....I can get use to it.

One other thing I noticed,is smg's are waaaaaaaay overused,it seemed like that's all everybody used, and I noticed that the theme of the games (in combination with the smg use) was pure hip fire unless you camped and didn't go for the objective (which I seen alot of)

Overall though,I'm glad I picked it up,I'm sure I'll spend time with MP,but the chance to play with my son will be a blast, which was my main reason for picking this up.

Got it on sale + Amazon gift card. Haven't really played COD since Blops. Had MW3 and HATED it.

Does anybody else play these modes? and are they as fun as they seem to appear on youtube?
Domination is my favorite Gamemode, and it can be a very rewarding Experience when played correctly. If you decide to play a lot of Domination try to find a team, or play with 1-2 friends. Because it can get frustrating when you are sacrificing your butt off trying to Capture the B flag, while the rest of your team is hiding out in buildings playing Team Deathmatch.

Kill Confirmed is quite fun as well, I don't play it as often but it's like a more Fast Paced, Team Deathmatch. You have to run out after the tags to win, but be careful don't blindly run after every kill or you will only give up yourself. After you kill someone (unless it's in Close quarters) lay back, scope out the area, and when you're sure it's Safe pick up the Tags and move on. A lot of times you killing someone, will draw most of the Enemy team to that area.

My favorite mode is Hardcore Capture the Flag. When I first started playing it I almost exclusively defended, but as of late I have been going on the offensive a lot too.

I haven't seen Christmas noobs yet, but hey I do play Ground War. But anyways, I love the AN-94, low-moderate recoil, good damage and good iron sights.

The Christmas noobs are all over Halo4 in comparison to this game.

I am loving H4. I can't believe I am saying that, but the game is amazing to me. It is a great compliment to this one. I warm up with Blops2, and then pop in Halo.

Maybe I am just honeymooning since Im only level 24 in Halo, but the strategy is so different. coming back to blops, first thing you notice is how easy it is to get kills. The other thing is that the strategies are less varied. Camp surrounded by tons of betties or rush. The worst thing about christmas noobs is that they dont have engineer up so my random teammates have basically been horrible. They just run into death over and over and have no mic so you can't warn them.

Just got this on Tuesday and am enjoying it a lot so far. I think that kill confirmed may be my new favorite mode. I do despise the quickscoping though. Looking for some osers to team with on ps3. Id= ahuffman

After playing more last night,I'm really starting to warm up and enjoy the game alot more. I mainly stayed with kill confirmed and team deathmatch, and had a really fun time.
I played against my son,and his butt got better throughout the day,and was giving me all I could handle,I couldn't stop laughing.

I'm still getting use to how I want my loadouts to be,with so many choices,it really makes it difficult to limit it to 10...hell,I've already dropped my sidearm,as I'm usually not alive long enough to use it,plus it's so easy to pick up another gun,I felt I could use the room for something else.

I am however sick of the luxury liner boat map already...since last night I played alot of TDM,it seemed like that was the map I mostly played on. I had bad flashbacks to blops 1 and Nuketown (a map I thought was absolute garbage).

Again,I'm glad I did pick this up as an alternative to BF3,which is still my go-to MP game, but I am able to enjoy both for what they bring to the table....I know it's crazy right....somebody can actually BOTH games..

On my main two loadouts I have no sidearm, I really don't need it.

Re: Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2

Just noticed something today. I ended up moving my Xbox up to my room because its usually 20 degrees warmer than the rest of the house this time of year. Anyway the TV in my room is an old RCA non-hd TV. The TV I have in my living room is a 26 inch Sanyo HDTV.
I noticed right off the bat after moving it, that was that their was no lag whatsoever. Now my Internet has good speed I realized that the hdTV might have been causing some of the lag with the the controls. Only for a split second but just long enough to affect my gameplay. If anyone is playing on a HDTV try moving it to an older one to see if the lag issues let up.

Kramer/Cower, just wait for the inevitable feeling of repetitive gameplay

I was the same way coming back over from Battlefield 3 and I had a lot of fun, until I realized the lack of gun balance.

I got the point where I could only use an SMG/Suppressor set up and be successful.

I don't think it helped that the only game modes I really enjoyed were Hardpoint and Kill Confirmed.

I'm thinking about trying to put it in sometime this weekend, I'll jump in with you if you're on.

My favorites, and only two maps on the game I can actually say I enjoy, are Yemen and Carrier.

Drone is decent, but I hate how hard B dom is to cap on it.

Other than that I don't like any of the maps really, they are tied with mw3 to me for worst maps ever in a CoD. But I especially despise Express and Cargo. Those maps are just garbage to me.

yea,I have noticed that the best loadouts seem to be anything with an smg tied to it. I did have SOME success using the FAL,but that was only on carrier,as that map lended itself to more open areas.

As for the other maps,it was easiest to use the smgs,as obviously the quarters were much tighter,so being able to hip fire came into play.

Right now my 2 fav guns are the pdw,and the Vector, both because of what I outlined just a bit ago.

I don't know dude,I'm still enjoying the game, and haven't had many "wtf" moments (which is good) but last night was pretty bad in regards to camping in TDM....it was the same ol thing, either a bouncing betty,or one of those shock sticks (sorry forget the name) and the dude camping the same room.

What made it even worse, was when I would kill the dude several times (in the same location) he would return over and over....I thought to myself "are people seriously THIS stupid?"...lol

I was starting to call the game Camp of Duty last night...it was that bad.

Use an Assault Rifle with the stock attachment. It destroys SMG's, trust me. I've been using the M8A1 with stock as well as the MTAR with stock, it's insanely good against SMG's.
