If you dont like being killed by people warping with the knife lunge im not sure youll enjoy mw3. Maybe things have changed but that frustrated me alot in mw3. Also the striker shotgun with damage and range was pretty tough.

Gun perks in general made the game unbalanced as hell.

Re: Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2

Well,I broke down and picked up MW3 today...I had some older games that I no longer play,so I did me some tradin' with Gamestop.

I was only able to play for about an hour, but in that hour I could already tell the difference....for the better.
I didn't once run into "host migration" or the famous "pulling the plug",but best of all,I also didn't run into anything that seemed "overpowered".

Call me crazy, but I prefer these maps over BLLOPS2 maps. In these it seemed there were some nice flanking routes, and I didn't feel "bottled up" and fearing the ever popular smg, shotgun or crazed pistol user.

I also like the "dirtier" look to the game,BLOPS 2 while looking decent,is too colorful for my liking.

The guns also seemed to pack some "punch" when getting the kill, unlike BLOPS 2...there really isn't that sense of DAMN....that must've hurt.

I'm not sure if I'll pick up any of the DLC,as I seen on PSN there are 2 maps that are free,so I'll download those and see how it goes.

I was getting destroyed in TDM,but I attribute that to obviously not knowing the maps....but once I get that down,I' sure I'll enjoy this COD way more that BLOPS 2.

No sir I do not. I had one of the map packs when I had it for Xbox but didn't buy any of them for the PS3.

FOB Spectre on Hardened difficulty is ****ing frustrating... for that matter, any of the strike force missions on hardened are a real pain in the ***.

I probably have to play through on normal after this hardened play through to get a better experience.

I have both Black Ops II and MW3 on PS3. I played a bit of MW3 last night and enjoyed it a bit. If anyone wants to play, shoot me a request.

So I played a bit last night, and wow I'd never experienced such bad lag in a COD game. What happened over the last month? When I first got this game it was butter smooth. Now even with 4 bars it was laggy.

me and my clan put MW3 back in rotation the last couple of days and let's just say our win streak is at 50 right now. The game feels way better then BLOPS2. I said that when I first put the game in but I tried to be patient and see will they fix a few things and I still feel the same. Only reason I'm still playing BLOPS2 is because all my friends still do.

The lag has gotten significantly worse since the patch was released.

The speed of this game is the real problem IMO. It's way too fast. Players are running around like Usain Bolt. Add in the tiny maps, and the overpowered weapons(shotguns, pistols) and you have a complete mess.

After getting more playtime in last night,I can safely say that I enjoy MW3 more than BLOPS 2.
I was able to play for about 4 hours last night (wife went to bed early ) and had an absolute blast. I played kill confirmed, and was simply dropping fools...not one time did I feel "cheated" out of a kill,or feel that I shouldn't have died.

Overall this has been a much better experience, and I'm glad I picked up the game.

I agree the speed is way to fast looks like guys on ice skates especially when using lightweight perk. Whoever did the balancing of weapons must be a pistol lover as I see more and more people using them. When a pistol out does a sub or assault gun their's a problem. Pistols should be a weapon you don't want to use but only when you're pressed to. Shotgun's need a nerf as well way to powerful as the hitboxes are so large you just spin and shoot. I miss the cod 4 and waw days where it had a nice pace not everyone flying around as you could actually focus with what was going on around you. Now it's just a cluttered mess where the thought of game design has been thrown out the window. They want everyone to be a supersoldier I guess.

Thank you..lol. This is a MAJOR problem, and 1 I had outlined on several occasions.
When I'm shooting at the dude first, and getting hit markers, and he's just able to shoot through that and kill me,it's absolute BS.

Like I've mentioned,I have not even come close to seeing any of this in MW3,which I gotta say is breath of fresh air...lol. Also?....have not been killed by a "rushing shotgunner" once, everything has been about actual gun battles, and I love that...if I'm late,I die...simple as that.
