Double assassinations gone? I've seen a double counter,that was pretty great.

I remember reading somewhere that you had to have the hidden dagger or something like that equipped to do a double assassination.

Games pretty amazing as far as history stuff? kind of dumbed down since AC2 but nonetheless GREAT

But the bright white flashing is annoying.

WHY dont these ppl making the game realize this? Rockstar also dropped the ball with this with how they did it in Max payne. Ruining an otherwise great experience for gamers.

Did you happen to read the one for the guy who writes those entries? I hadn't at first and then when I did, it made all the other ones make more sense.

This game has the longest tutorial section I've ever experienced. Maybe it's not a big deal to people who haven't played all of them but as someone who has played every game on Day 1, a lot of the stuff they went over wasn't needed and I wish we could've somehow skipped all of it but got the story parts.

It might've been because I read that part while I was half asleep but it didn't click for me until after the reveal. After it happened I couldn't believe that they had talked about it so early but it didn't immediately spoil anything for me.

Anyone else seeing the hyper blur through the first couple sequences? I couldn't tell if it was part of the game maybe to force you to use the assassin vision or an anamus deal or a bug? Its really annoying either way..

I was thinking the same thing last night while playing. It does give you a pretty good background on things though.

I will say that 18th century Boston is rather impressive. Some have made some RDR comparisons which, based on how alive the world is, I can go along with that. Is it wrong that I've had the thought, "Why isn't the cat walking across the street going after the rat scurrying right near it?" If Boston had a rat problem back then, there's a reason why!

I thought that part to be amazingly cool like the VR missions in MGS1

If by hyper blue you mean the screen going in a white flash then YES a resounding annoyingly frustrated YES.

Biggest pet peeve so far. Things like this ruin game experiences

I thought that part to be amazingly cool like the VR missions in MGS1

It was just irritating because I didn't get much time to play before I had to go to sleep and I wanted to skip ahead to the main part of the game.

As an AC noobie I quit after 5 hours. The grind just wore me down.

I did. I walk up behind 2 guys with the hidden blade and it doesn't work,only gets one. I even held the X button out of combat to make sure he had both blades. It looked like the patrol was designed to be taken out like that.

Yeah the only time I've done it is from the air. It's unfortunate, but I enjoy this game way too much to let that bother me.
