Re: Assassin's Creed III
Haha me too. I actually loved the first one because at the time there was nothing else that had such an impressive world to play around in. Sure the combat and missions were repetitive but what they achieved for the time I thought was pretty good.We are the music makers...Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed III
Been progressing through the game slowly as I'm in two madden leagues.SpoilerBut I just finished sequence 3. Needless to say I was surprised, that I was playing as a Templar, very nice twist.Moderator

Re: Assassin's Creed III
Man the historical accuracy is fantasic in this game. I am also enjoying how this isn't just a praisal of the founding fathers and a digital chant of USA, USA with reminders of how great America is. The founders did some dirty things on their side too, inculding straight lying in the papers of the day. Glad to see that got touched on and that both sides shared blame for what happend. Bravo Ubisoft!!
Plus the snow effects are just out of this world. This is by far my favorite Assassin's Creed since AC II, when I first fell in love with it."If you have a linebacker on him, you might as well start singing their fight song." -- WSU coach Bill Doba on Reggie Bush

Re: Assassin's Creed III
Has anybody tried taking over a Templar(Fort)in the game yet?
Some of the things you have to do without getting spotted....sheesh.#RespectTheCultureComment

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed III
Might need to try this because I've always went for the powder first and then try to kill the captain. But then if I get spotted before I burn it, it tells me that I need to be anonymous before I can take care of that.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: Assassin's Creed III
Same here, assassinate a couple of the front gate guards, then bolt to the captain, run to powder, kill the fools following, burn, then flag. They are a little too easy, IMO.Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed III
I wasn't a huge fan of the first game because the travel got to be a bit much and the repetition got to me. After watching the videos I decided to jump back into the series.
The setting, graphics, and story are all top notch. I'm definately having fun with the game but I've seen a few issues. Through the first 3 acts the game has been too easy and two times I triggered the next scene without killing my enemy. I've also come back from cut scenes in a completely different area than when I went into the cut scene.
Small complaints aside I'm having a lot of fun. Now I'm wondering if I left this series too soon...Comment
