Honestly, is there ANY reason to keep the Gamecube at this point?

Maybe I'm overlooking something. Is there any reason that I should not take my Cube, memory packs, and 9 games and trade them in on a PS2 with broadband adapter? There is only 2.....count em....2 games that I am remotely interested in that is coming out for the Cube only. And one of those is pushed to sometime in 2004. I have an Xbox and play all my sports on it. However, the games that I am interested in other than sports is stuff like Skies of Arcadia, Zelda, etc. The PS2 has a ton of games like that. Dark Cloud 2, Kingdom Hearts, Sukiden (spelling?), Xenosaga, Jak 2, etc., etc., and so forth. It looks as though Nintendo and the third parties have all but already given up on the Cube. I've beaten the games I wanted to play and now I can see no reason to keep it.

Is there some games I'm over looking that's not put off until the end of next year? I see no reason for it collecting dust for a year when I can trade it all in for a PS2 and play games out the wazoo NOW. Suggestions?

I don't have a gamecube, and can't really imagine having it as my only console, because Sega isn't putting their sports games out on it, and I like online gaming. I doubt I'll pick up a GC anytime soon, but it is tempting to play Mario, Zelda, Metroid, and all their great 1st party games. Sounds like you'd enjoy the PS2 a whole lot more, IMO

          Gamecube stinks!! (IMO of course)

Nintendo fell off the radar. Those kiddie games they come out with are just plain old sad. If I see one more commercial with some bright, vibrant colored *** character my head is gonna fall off my torso from shaking it so much.

My boy left his Gamecube over my house 7 months ago. He has yet to ask for it back despite him visiting every other week. That tells you something. Its just sitting in my closet growing mold.

I gave mine away a week ago as payment to my gf's little brother for helping me move I was regretting it for a second when I realized Mario Kart Double Dash was coming out, but I don't really like playing those types of games unless I've got three people over. I agree with you guys that for awhile I didn't even know why I had it. I only had two games that I never played and it wasn't even hooked up anymore.
