    I agree with Injun.

Plus, the GC keeps the wife busy and allows me more XBox time.

I am sure I am in the minority but I love the GC. Does it have as many titles as the other consoles??? Nope.

But the games that is does have that interest me are "Top Shelf." Nintendo developed games just scream quality. Metroid prime, Zelda, abnd Viewtiful Joe are three of the best, if not the best, games of this generation.

Now if I could only have one console the GC would not be my first choice. But it makes a great complimentary system just fort the first party games alone.

good analysis...I think I'll end up getting one next spring or so when things have slowed down...too many good games now, but I'd like to play the great GC games

i just got a gc a little over a month ago and it's basically to play resident evil. at 99$ you can't go wrong. i for one didn't see the sense in putting an awesome franchise on such a kiddie system, but hey maybe CAPCOM got paid crazy loot from the big N. anyway to play resident evil (remake), O, and the soon to be released 4, why not? if you play that type of game....star wars maybe. i have an x-box too and that is my console of choice. thinking about getting a ps2 for online gaming ....madden, fifa... just waiting for their price drop to happen any minute....well sony

If you like Nintendo games, then the Cube is great value. I bought a Cube near launch but traded in a couple of months ago for an Xbox. Sega Sports dropping their support was a big reason I made the switch.

I was reading the next Mario will most likely be pushed for the N5, I think Nintendo is going to be smart and hold off all their next big games for N5 ie... Metroid Prime 2, Zelda, Mario, Super Smash Bros, etc.

So for the next 2 years I don't know what else is coming for the system. 3rd party support is thin, Mature games simply don't come on to the Cube. The Suffering was just cancelled, Blood Rayne 2 and Dead to Rights 2 isn't coming.

I will be interested to see how Nintendo does next generation because they said online gaming isn't big, 3rd party support has been lacking 2 sytems in a row, few sport games, etc....

If I was going to only buy only one system it wouldn't be Nintendo's, but it would make a great 2nd system option.

If I did not already own a cube, I surely would buy one just to give Mario Cart a try. I have been waiting on this game for along time.
