GTA VC Problem
I got the GTA double pack a few days ago for xbox. GTA 3 works fine. The first couple times I played VC it worked fine. Then I started getting the dirty disc error or whatever. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there anything I can do to fix this or should i just return the games?Tags: None -
Re: GTA VC Problem
The first time I put my VC disk in, it froze a little while into the game, then last night, i got a dirty/damged disk error. I removed the game, and turned my xbox off and then back on, and reinserted the game. No probs after that, still debating whether or not to return it. I think I prolly will return if it happens again. -

there's only one thing that really works in fixing this problem. Sending the xbox in for repair to MS.
Or I guess you could just buy new one.

yup, the problem is with the xbox, i've got an old one and i get DDE's on some games, but not others. it seems random(except everyone with an old box seems to have problems with NCAA 2004) as to what games you will get the DDE on, but the problem is definitely with the xbox. you can try returning it, and if a new copy does work better, it's probably just coinicidence, but i guess it can't hurt. i've also heard that taking the game out, turning off the box and unplugging all of the cables seems to help for some people, so maybe try that next time you get an error.Comment

Re: GTA VC Problem
Usually I will put a disc cleaner in and it will eliminate the problem. I use the ones with the little brushes on them that doesnt use any liquid (Mine I found at Walmart).
