How is the aiming system in this game?

I'm wondering if it's completely free aim or if they have something like the GTA series.

I'm hoping that it's free aim.

I don't know if there's an option for auto-aim, but the guy in the multiplayer vid was definitely in free aim. GTA's aiming system made online way less fun for me.

Agreed. I hated auto aim, made the game unplayable for me online.

That's why I was asking, the online shooting portion of GTAV & RDR were kinda lame with all the lock on shooting. In GTAV online I mostly did the coop missions and racing because the deathmatch stuff was cheesy.

I really would love free aim.

I almost bought the season pass bundle today. I think I will hold off, and get the pass later if I like the game.

This is where I am currently at as well.
I was thinking of going ahead and picking it up when I get the game,but I too want to make sure I will like the game enough to get the pass.

Based on what I've seen so far though,I'm sure I will end up getting it.

Went today and got my preorder and paid it off,and to my surprise my local Gamestop IS having a midnight release,so can't wait for that.

I'm still going to hold off on the season pass though...but I did say the same thing about Black flags season pass,but I still caved,so I'm sure in the long run this will be no different.
