    Watch Dogs

Anytime I fail at defense when being hacked, I learn a new thing about how to avoid it.

I knew I was being followed last night and tried to find the guy before the hack started.

My mistake, I realize now, was staying in the middle of a busy street. I should have taken to the alley because that would have forced the hacker out.

Got too caught up in trying to profile the guy and by the time the hacking started, he used that time to find a good hiding spot that required me searching above and below and in the middle of shrubs.

By the time I saw him, it was 99% and I couldn't act in time before it reached 100%.

Another thing this game lacks is stat tracking. I wish I could see me most used weapons, vehicles, etc and how many people I've killed, saved, etc and some core stats like average MPH, top speed, accuracy with certain weapons, etc and of course online stats

EDIT: Don't get me wrong, I enjoy this game a lot. Just pointing out things I have a beef with

          c) Jam Comms.
          d) Use the right stick to change camera angle. I've walked past my hacker quite a few times because i didn't have the correct angle to see them.

They will stall the hacker's progress and give you some more time to locate him; but it only stops the progress once, so if you use Jam Comms after that it's just a waste.

Right. Therefore it's best to use it after the 75% mark on hacking progress because of how small the search circle gets at that point. More time to search for the hacker in the smallest area he can possibly move in.

TBH, once you get used to Aiden's animations, it's way easier to point out a hacker that's trying to be slick and walk by or near you.

Last night I was running down a street and stopped to hack a person on their phone, while I stopped, I saw someone just past me and do the same exact animation to stop running that I did... I pointed my gun at them, then proceeded to expose and terminate them.

I have a question, I am playing the main campaign , not doing any online stuff yet. However I have been hacked several times by other players. When this happens what if anything am I losing? Thanks

If you aren't doing any hacking of your own, you're losing nothing. The only thing people gain from hacking and tailing is notoriety points and their own XP, and the skills you get from those notoriety points are really only useful in the online modes.

If you're only playing with single-player in mind, getting successfully hacked won't affect you one bit.

Sucks really bad that we can't hack friends. I enjoy the multiplayer aspect a whole lot I just wish I could jump in my friends game and hem him up from time to time. It could even be a penalty is UBI wanted to where it would be just like a pure friend vs friend stat track and no notoriety is earned or things that "Progress" you in MP.

What part do you want to know about? I've been going slowly but I've gotten through a few missions. They actually get better as you go

It's just not the online stuff, there's the gang hideouts, fixer contracts and plenty more if you're going for 100% progression (like I am).

I just finished Act 3 and the story keeps you interested. Really no unexpected plot turns, at least not yet, everything has been kind of predictable as you go a long. There have been times where I had to remind myself that I wanted to get the game as close to 100% before the final Act and I'd force myself back to the gang hideouts and what not.

Maybe it's just me, but I've yet to play a video game that had a story worth remembering. They are like martial arts movies - ultimately i only really want to watch the fight scenes.

Did my first successful hack last night. Got really lucky and dropped off of a bridge so I was below the guy I was hacking. He had no idea where I was and he was going nuts shooting NPCs that the cops showed up.

They're intense and I love them.

So I completed the story along with the side missions(except for fixer contracts), investigations and most of the collectibles and still just at 63% completion. Loved every minute of this game especially the gang hideouts and criminal convoys, can't wait for the DLC to drop.

I wish we could start the game over without losing any upgrade progression or without losing your current game save. I definitely want to go another round playing the missions differently. The next game definitely needs to have a replay mission feature like GTA since theres so many ways to attack them.
