Why not? It's their series and gamers never know what they want. Some people complain that this game is too much like the 3rd one, others are complaining that it's not enough like the 3rd, and others are complaining about it changing too much from the first 2 games. People are going to complain no matter what and I'd rather see them do something different with the series than do the same game over and over again.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :) -
Re: Saints Row 4
This game is clearly rushed vy volition. SR 3.5, was supposed to be a DLC in SRTT, the map is the exact same from SRTT, no new buildings, islands, etc. No new peds... Lmap couldnt even make new peds. This game is nothing but SRTT with alians & super powers aka the DLC. Price on this will be 20$ by christmasComment

They don't like the direction Saints Row has gone in, but continue posting about it. I say let them be, and ignore them.Comment

Re: Saints Row 4
U guys should really visit the forums. Saintsrow.com/forums because u guys think im the only 1 bashing volition.
& about peds... My point is they changed nothing from SRTT to 4, the point is this is a DLC worth 20$ max.Comment

Re: Saints Row 4
But you don't know unless you're actually a developer working on the game. All they've released is a quick-shot trailer and a vague description of some NEW game play elements and some glimpses into the storyline.
I don't care that people are bashing it. People are gonna bash everything ever created. I've enjoyed all of the games I've played and I'm not gonna let internet comments sway me from wanting to continuing playing this fun series.
You don't like the direction that's cool. I don't see why you're wasting your time worrying about a game that you don't really want to play.

Re: Saints Row 4
There is actually a interview with a dev where he admits the city being the exact same (except for just making some buildings taller) & says the peds are the same. Nothing is different from SRTT really. I wish I could post the link but cant from my phone, but im sure u can find it or just read it on the SR forums.
Regardless if I like the game or not, I dont think its fair to release a DLC & charge 60$ for it. The fact that they are taking a DLC & slapping IV on it is unfair. In SRTT there was supposed to be a DLC released called Enter the Dominatrix.. Same exact plot line, superpowers everything. But Volition decided to just put it out as its own game. Thats why the storyline is so messed up. Its a DLC, wasnt meant to be a new game. & people at PAX that went & saw SR 3.5 said the game is already done, & didnt see much of a change from SR3 to 4 except the story.Comment

Re: Saints Row 4
I don't remember having any complaints about it even though the side missions weren't as plentiful as SR2.

Re: Saints Row 4
I don't think not improving NPC characters or adding additional ones (at least based on speculation) is an appropriate measure of how much effort is put into development.
