I have a feeling its just that I don't have all the weapons that others do because a few times last night I tried a sniper rifle which I never do but I hit someone direct (not head shots) twice and they didn't die. And then of course someone else from their team spotted me and shot me dead in 1 shot.

There is a deep disparity between the best and worst weapons in Battlefield 4.

I switched to domination since conquest kept crashing on me and I had the worse rubber banding going on.

Guess I was not the only one. I was having a good night for once and actually contributing to the team, but crashed near the end of each match. First night I had any problems as well since launch, so the patch made things worse on my end...

Same here, last night I had some of the worse bugs, glitches, lag, and crashes last night in conquest I have ever had. I even had this weird bug where my jet got stuck going straight up and there was no way to get it back down. It was basically stuck in the skybox and only allowed to go one direction.

I had it crash on my first Conquest so that pretty much put me out of the mood.

I actually played Team Deathmatch for an 1 1/2 hours this morning with the same group and then it started messing up again.

This. When ever I get a CE crash (especially my first match) I usually, just eject the game and play something.

I've not been having any real problems after the patch with CE errors. I played a long time with JNes, & Nuni (less time with mike24 & kt-od) and never had any problems. JNes and I played obliteration and Rush with no problems.

Where I have problems is trying to enter a game or backing out of a game and trying to enter a party or check messages or notifications. It always seems to freeze and I end up having to turn off my PS4 and restart everything. I'm not sure if this is because I'm not letting everything load on the screen before I start hitting buttons, but that really shouldn't matter, but it seems like it does. Maybe I need more patience, but they really just need to work out these little bugs because BF4 is a blast to play with friends.

Couple thoughts from me.

1. Conquest seems to be the hardest game mode to get into a match that doesn't rubber band, freeze, glitch, ect

2. A lot of times I just select quick match and even thought I select something like Conquest, Team DM it will sometimes just take me to a random game mode

3. I stink something awful at this game. I mean I really can't remember that last time I was this bad at a shooter online. For the life of me I can't even pull a positive K/D unless I just get lucky, as every time I get a kill someone or something seems to be right there to kill me. Battle Field is a team work game for sure but I'm just not used to dying so much

4. Why when playing Conquest do I always get a squad full of snipers or wanna sit on a mountain side 2 miles away from the action? It never fails and they end up with low kills and a low score. I mean I don't mine people or like the recon class but come on and at least make a effort to do more than that

I tried playing for a few hours last night:

-- Still getting crashes to the dashboard
-- Still seeing lots of "rubber band" lag
-- Still getting no sound effects in conquest mode
-- Still seeing the squad leader glitch where their team color icon has a delay in displaying on screen.

What did this PS4 patch fix again?

Indeed I just played a match and received almost all the bugs they claimed to have fixed. No crash, though. Still, the game remains essentially unplayable for me. My bullets do not register at all in this game.

I worked and got decent at BF3, but because of the lag or some sort of handicap, I can't do anything in this game. I was shooting a guy at point blank range and he took some damage but didn't die. Meanwhile, just about anyone can still one-hit kill me. I don't get it. Perhaps if I added some packet loss to my connection I could do better?

I had actually been able to play Conquest without crashing (no sound, but whatever) for a week or so before this patch yesterday. So getting one on my first game took the wind out of my sails.

It's hit or miss for me. Sometimes my bullets register, sometimes they don't. I get a crash every time I play conquest. I think I'm just going to play the campaign. I might venture online, but I have a sour taste in my mouth from it.

I think I have a bad glitch...my bullets don't seem to hit anyone....
