Bingo. Even PC is far worse than the older titles. I remember in BF2, squads would move throughout some city maps together to flank the enemy, use smoke grenades to provide cover, using a MG to provide cover so we could run across the street.

BF is turning into a glorified FPS with vehicles rather than being based on teamwork

I'm just hoping that most of those COD guys will just play TDM and stay out of the objective modes.

I was all over BF3 but Im just not sure of BF4. The wife gave it to me yesterday as an Anniversery gift and Im debating on returning it for something else.

It's really fun to play against those type of people in objective modes. Last night I hopped in an OS group and it was straight up domination...in domination.

They weren't even trying for the objectives. Loved getting those easy points.



After a terrible start to my BF4 career I'm finally getting better. I enjoy the Assault class the best. The ACE 23 is my favorite gun right now and I've by far been having the most success with it over any other weapon.

...and the lack of communication. I hate that squads don't talk and most people run around aimlessly. This game is awesome when you are playing with players who spot and communicate about objectives. Also, I hate when guys don't drop health or ammo!

Last night in Rush, Fresh was playing the back while Boltman was commanding up front.

Fresh was like I need ammo.

Bolt got killed, deployed on Fresh, changed from Assault to Support and dropped ammo for Fresh.

If you're playing BF4 and not jumping on with OSers, you're doing yourself a disservice. Squad up and learn the game from each other. Big time fun.

I did a TDM match to get a scope. Not a single person on the team marked any enemy

It is incredible how good the SRR-61 is.

It is also incredible how many points you get from being a squad leader and giving orders on rush. Finish top 2 on the scoreboard guaranteed when being a squad leader.

I really need to get into some matches with you guys. I'm sick of playing with people who are only out for themselves.

A friend and I used to dominate when we played together, so I can't imagine what a full squad of people can do.

Nothing worse than being in Domination and you have a guy who is 500m away from any objective sniping. One time we were losing really bad and I just followed this guy shooting him and tossing grenades at him.

I had the same thing happen the other day playing Domination on Hainan. Guy puts a spawn beacon down where he can only see one flag, and barely that. Just sitting back trying to level his sniper rifles without helping at all. I stood in front of him jumping until he finally moved.

Drives me absolutely nuts.

I have this problem as well in most of the matches I play but sometimes there are people confused with what they think is someone playing selfishly vs. defending an area.

I had a few teammates giving me crap for perching an AA far back on the bank while defending the island on Lancang Dam during a conquest match but I had the tall building to my left locked down and by using the AA on that bank I could take down 90% of the incoming heli's and planes because most of them would come from behind that island.

This was also effective against people jumping off boats and trying to take the island from the backside. I just switched to 30mm cannon and took out anything working the back of that island.

Needless to say we won and I ended up with 25-30 kills but a few angry teammates. To me it was a logical strategic move...even more so when the opposing players realized what I was doing because they began concentrating on getting back at me instead of the objective.

I just got this game as a christmas gift and im getting killed. Its been so long since I played bf3. Hopefully I can hope on with some from here and knock the rust off. Not knowing any of the maps at all does not help either.

I ****ing love trolling spawn beacons. It's like people expect that I won't knife them for a third time in a row after I knifed them twice

So...Finally got in some games with a couple guys from OS and proceeded to provide no help besides a couple ammo packs LOL, besides the clutch disarm I pulled off in my last game of rush
