SKS for spamming but suffers from poor velocity, QBU-88 has a small clip but highest in class bullet velocity and still a high rate fire but has the low damage model, the M39 has near QBU velocity and ROF and the higher damage model but suffers from very high vertical recoil so it take a high amount of skill to master, other than that the SCAR H SV has exceptional accuracy but poor time to kill. ACE SV has a huge clip if you like that.

Overall I'd rate them as M39 > QBU > SKS > SCAR H > ACE > all others.

Wow if I'm doing good and loving the RFB then I can't wait to use those that you mentioned.

I like the RFB, ACE 53, and M39. I might like the ACE the best because the magazine capacity.

I'm also assuming anything other than angled grip on DMRs is a mistake?

The RFB also has pretty decent hip fire. Not something I expected using DMRs.

It was nice running with some of you guys yesterday.. Koolie, Jistic, eF 5ive.. I haven't played much BF4, but that may change soon. I'm starting to enjoy it more now that I'm learning the maps and weapons better..

And man, you guys are good. Glad I could revive y'all a couple times. Ha

Another question:

How does one go about unlocking the weapon shortcuts during "fan appreciation month?" Grenades and handguns for all, and for premium members the DMR's and shotguns?

Shortcut Bundles
We are preparing two shortcut bundles for Battlefield 4 that we will make available for download at no cost during the Player Appreciation Month. These voluntary shortcut bundles will unlock all grenades and handguns for Battlefield 4 (the base game) so you can make up for lost time. Or if you’re new to the game, they will help you catch up with players who have been on the Battlefield since launch. We will get back to you with more details once we have set release dates for these items. For all of our Battlefield 4 Premium users, we’re adding two additional weapon shortcuts, unlocking DMR’s and shotguns. That way, if you like, you can quickly get your hands on a large portion of the weapons available in Battlefield 4.

Battlefield 4's Second Assault DLC could be available on non-Xbox platforms from February 18, if Origin Germany is to be believed.

A screengrab taken by Reddit user OurRobOrRos suggests that Premium players will be able to get their hands on the map pack on that date, meaning it'll be the first week of March that non-Subscribers on PS4, PS3 and PC get hold of them.


Second Assault contains four remakes of Battlefield 3 maps, including Gulf of Oman, Operation Metro, Caspian Border, and Operation Firestorm. It was included with the Xbox One version of the game from launch, though it was made clear that this is only a timed exclusive. Despite some initial problems getting the pack to download, these have since been resolved.

Connection issues, crashes, and bugs have plagued Battlefield 4 on all platforms since it was launched, leading to a busy few months of patching. The issues were serious enough that DICE had to put a hold on future development, including that of expansions for Battlefield 4, in order to work on rectifying the litany of problems players have faced.

Xbox One players are currently experiencing framerate issues following the game's most recent update.

You just need to play enough of recon until you get the first DMR

Idk if that leaked release date is true. When it came out on Reddit lots of people speculated that it was the original date for non premiums but it's now been pushed back a week, meaning it would be released tomorrow for premium. It would make sense since we got Second Assault dog tags today. And SA servers have been popping up on PC in the last 24 hours or so as well

Anyone else that fly just feel like rockets are worthless in choppers? I'm so tired of releasing all rounds in a heli for the guy to still be alive even if I get hit markers on every shot.

Then I get hit with an igla and blow up without warning.

BC had the best vehicle weapon dmg ratio.

What's the deal with RPG shells leaving my launcher, going for 20-30 feet, disappearing from the air, and then ending up back inside of my launcher?

Conversely I feel like RPG's need a big buff. If you're gonna be shooting a weapon with no assistance whatsoever I feel like you should be rewarded. I keep going back to the SRAW because there is not enough benefit to using the old school RPG.

Speaking of BFBC2, I remember you could drop any chopper with one hit of the RPG...but it took skill to do.
