As for your second question, DICE hasn't announced the date of the servers, but IMO it should come around the summer/fall time.NFL: Seattle Seahawks

Re: Battlefield 4
Looks as though I'll have to play me some Assassins Creed for those 2 weeks since I probably won't be getting premium.
I played the living daylights outta these maps on BF3,and quite honestly the only maps I would even remotely be interested would be Caspian and Oman....IMO...we already have our Operation Metro in Operation Locker, and I never could stand Operation Crapstorm.
So for those that haven't experienced these maps yet, have fun and enjoy...myself? I'll wait and see what the next wave of DLC brings.People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.“I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest – If you can’t take it, you shouldn’t play!” Jack Lambert“Quarterbacks should wear dresses.” Jack LambertComment

Re: Battlefield 4
Don't you think this is the last battlefield to be made for current gen? I just can't see current gen keeping up with future battlefields and also probably better off for them to put all their resources into making a game that works great for ps4/xbox one.Comment

Most likely, but it's up to both Microsoft and Sony to pull the plug on the 360/PS3 versions.NFL: Seattle Seahawks

Re: Battlefield 4
Also, some owners would pump up the ticket counts to extremely high levels, meaning you are stuck on one map for an hour or more at times. Or they would place specific rules such as no explosives, no shotties, etc.
I'm fine with the freedom for those who love to setup their own server parameters.... but I always had a harder time just finding a GAME to jump into as the rented servers were everywhere. No more quick match, as you would likely end up in a rented with God-knows-what rules. I had to resort to searching for servers manually for games. Some people even disguised their servers as DICE normal servers, which really irked me.
I know I'm being a sod, but I just like Dice's servers, not the rented ones. Just my opinion but I hope they don't bring those back for BF4. Go ahead and just offer some 'mixed' servers with original maps + DLC maps.GO 'HAWKS!

Re: Battlefield 4
Honesty, for me....BF3 took a downward turn with rentable/custom servers. There was some strange policing going on at times, as the owner (if he's playing) can boot whomever, whenever, for any or no reason. This can be true for both a player that is having a struggle, or a player who is playing out of his mind.

I guess it's fun for those that want to "stat pad" and all,but I do need some variety,or I get bored quick....and looking at any specific map for an hour bores me to tears.
I too hope it's not a p.i.t.a to find regular Dice servers, because as you mentioned Dan,the rules and the "badmins" on these rented servers can become a complete joke.People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.“I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest – If you can’t take it, you shouldn’t play!” Jack Lambert“Quarterbacks should wear dresses.” Jack LambertComment

Battlefield 4
Rented servers were the best feature of bf3 for me. Finally consoles were given the ability. I'm sick of crappy generic servers with no admins and randoms destroying a hardcore game. I also don't want to play every map in the same cycle. Find a good server, and build a community.
I've also been playing BF since the series started on PC so I was really missing it.Last edited by sbauer318; 02-13-2014, 08:04 PM.Comment

Re: Battlefield 4
I also liked the rented servers. Yes I was no longer able to really use quick game, but I liked looking through the servers and favoriting servers I really liked. There were some great custom rush servers on BF3 that had one round per map so it kept things fresh for me. Also I liked that people could include the best maps from all the various DLC's into their playlist. I have barely played China Rising because if pick a server with those maps currently it will only rotate between those 4 maps. Definitely looking forward to Second Assault and I guess it is time for me to go ahead and get premium for BF4.Comment

I used to stay in them 300 ticket TDM rooms...main reason i dont play TDM now. 100 tickets is just too short.
but with these maps i doubt it will matter. They flat out suck but wouldnt mind playing a 300 ticket Locker TDM.
