i recently downloaded this and have been having the same problem.

Happened to me as well after the last update.



I had to delete BF4 and re-download it.



Works now.

Yeah I had to redownload it 3 times to get it to work

That reminds me in BF3 when Close Quarters came out and I was so excited to use the sCarl (SCAR-L) and I just used it to about 600 kills in the first two days and I was 4th on PS3 with it. Then but by 600 kills I realized how bad it was and never used it again

Also, Pito using the DAO is 100% my fault because I was the one that told him about the darts--and then partook in the troll squad (DAO death squad as he calls it) on locker with just us two using the DAO. We would finish top 5 on our team and have ridiculous K/D's

Simply me and take no offense to anyone who just loves to do it, but I never understood the incessant need to stand on a hill 200 feet away and just snipe people. They should just start including a mode called "I don't care about my team or team goals, just my KD ratio" It's a win-win.

dont see how that is any fun sitting in one spot looking through a scope the whole round

Same here. Now if someone spends $60 on a game and that's how they want to play it - who the hell am I to tell them it's wrong. I also acknowledge that in some cases, a well placed sniper(or 2)can be a tremendous asset.


...but when I look over on a hill and see 10 idiot "teammates" all standing next to each other on a hill. Let's just say I wish there was a way I could just shoot them all myself -

Grab a jeep and play bowling. See how many guys you can get in one pass. It works in a chopper too.

I hopped on the other day, there were no friends, so I hopped into Oman and decided to work on my Recon class for a round. It's a good map for it. I didn't even have a sniper rifle but I did have a non-scoped DMR if someone started making a run for my building/location.

So I go up to a rooftop and am using my PLD and spotting like crazy, racking up spot bonuses and helping my team in THAT way to secure flags. Some blueberry up there with me jumps on the wall's edge and gets in front of me, dropping little health packs and will...not....STOP.

Fine....so I go over to the opposite wall to spot for a couple of other flag areas and another blueberry up there comes up behind me and is shooting at me and will....not... stop. So I lower my PLD, turn around and swing my knife at his face (no effect other than a brief pause of surprise) and hop off the building for greener pastures.

So goes my recon experience playing with d-bags.
