That was such a good game on Metro. And lol at me getting tops on our team while going 6-5

Also, at some point recently I logged a kill with a 100th and 101st unique weapon. I'd keep going but I'm trying to master weapons now. Getting sorta close with the AS-VAL, M16A4, and 93R. And I guess SRAW but it takes a long time to build up kills with that

We seem to be having some Internet issues. I tried to play tonight and lag dogged me when I was in with the group and also on my own in a random server. Could not move most of the time and had to quit out without even finishing a round

I was wondering why you kept popping in and out. Sorry to hear that Dan, hope it gets resolved.

We had another 2 squads worth of players on again tonight. Me and Dog were with a bunch of randoms and doing OK individually but our side was getting crushed.

Then here comes this big influx of OSers and we have one full squad plus some more and the tide turns and we start beating the other side.

Good games tonight guys, very fun as always.

Once again ninja patch time for DICE, pretty good one luckily.

Stinger/IGLA: 45 -> 35 against all aircraft but the transport
Javelin: 34 -> 30 damage. Missile disappears midair if a second missile is fired before the first one impacts
AA mines: can't be picked up or equipped together with other launchers (Doesn't matter here but has been a problem on PC)
MAA ARMs: supply changed from 2+2 -> 2+1. They gain properties as the already nerfed stealth jets' ARM now it seems (~100m activation distance, slower, smaller cone, etc)

Also has a countermeasure buff. Minor but helpful to attack chopper survivability .

ECM reload: 30s -> 25s
Flares reload: 25s -> 20s

Yeah they updated the server patch notes

R30 Server Update
-Players will no longer be able to pick up deployed AA mines
-Players will no longer be able to equip an AA mine together with rocket launchers
-Fix for an issue where players could have two Javelin projectiles in the air at the same time
-Javelin damage has been reduced from 34% to 30%
-Active Radar cone on the Ground Active Radar Missiles has been reduced from 5 degrees to 2 degrees
-Reduced the resupply time of the Flares from 25 to 20 seconds
-Reduced the resupply time of the ECM from 30 to 25 seconds
-Increased the resupply time of Active Protection from 30 to 35 seconds
-Bullpup weapons with 1x sights should now all properly benefit from increased movement speed while aiming down the sight
-Increased the damage of the CBJ-MS all ranges to better balance its low rate of fire
-Reduced the direct damage of the Attack Helicopter Zuni rockets as they were slightly too powerful after the last adjustment - as a result that last increase has been toned down to 50%
-Increased the side to side recoil of the AWS to balance it with other 800 RPM LMGs and keep its unique firing behavior
-Reduced the damage of the FIM-92 Stinger and SA-18 IGLA to 35% from 45% against Scout, Attack Helicopters and jets
-Toned down the helicopter flip caused by FIM-92 Stinger, SA-18 IGLA and Starstreak HVM-2 impacts

This morning, my wife suggested I plug the PS4 straight into the dsl modem instead of the router (like I usually have it) and give it a try. I played a round of Conquest at Golmund and it was smooth, but I kept checking the server/signal strength in the pause menu after each death (yes...I got to check it a lot) and it still showed one red bar, good ping, no packet loss in, about 10% loss out. The game itself was playing quite well. (last night was showing one red bar, and high packet loss in and out)

It really seems to me that packet loss numbers are where it's at for severe lag?

Then quit and went to a Team Deathmatch server and that was a two green bar out of three strength with similar numbers as above on the other stuff. Again, a good experience...and got my first TDM win ribbon lol.

I will try this a little more today. It's so hard to know how much my problems are Dice/EA servers, or my slow 'net. MOST of the time I have played with you guys, I experience lag at the same time as you do on the same maps. When no lag is present, I'm fine. Game play is good even with my 'net speed being what it is.

Last night though, how was it for you guys? Especially at Rogue Transmission when I was in briefly? That was BRUTAL, immovable, paralyzing **** for me, then I had to quit out.
