This is my first fps in years. Not sure I should keep this game as I really suck. Every time I turn a corner I get absolutely blitzed. Anyone have any pointers?

I sucked for a long time and I was really good at cod4 and rb6 vegas. BUT I think everyone HAS to suck at first. The learning curve is a bit steep and it takes longer than other FPS's to click and get to the point where you're doing more of what you're trying to do.

I'm not all that good yet at classes outside of recon. I'm starting to use the support with LMG though, I think that gun is a tad underrated and I like the idea of being an engineer but have more success as assault. Overall it is just a hard game but you have to go though a big sucky phase to get better. If you want to run around with an assault rifle, do that with other guys and follow them a few meters behind, they will get the drop on enemies first (and enemies on them) getting you used to seeing bogies in the field. Getting the drop on enemies is #1 and #2 is not freaking out and being methodical and patient with your firing of the weapon. I've seen a gun medium distance jog by and not see me, I put him in the sights and spray a circle around him only for him to turn around and patiently burst and send me to the deploy screen! haha

Just practice a lot, try out different weapons, check out smythic.com and Level cap gaming on you tube. Pick what you feel comfortable with, stay out of the center of maps, always drop ammo, revive, etc play the objectives. Stick and move. Oh and aim for the head.

I really hate playing Rush in this game. I haven't enjoyed Rush since Bad Company 2. Anyways, OS runs deep.

Supposedly we have footage of it (jeep doing cartwheels in the elevator).

Sometimes we have an infamous 8 man squad, but usually it's of the 6 or 7 man variety.

Is there a way to do it consistently? There's usually 6 of us so we sometimes have to split the group 3-3. Would love to be able to get everyone in one squad

Yes there is.

We do it just about every time when there isn't 2 full squads of us.

We mainly do 6 or 7 but I think one time or two we had 8 or 9.

The footage is very anticlimactic. It doesn't capture the full effect. I do have other footage of my taking a quad up and elevator and jumping off the top of a building with it

The giant squad thing is simple. Have a full squad with a friend as a squad leader. Join on the friend via Battlelog. When you are on the same team as them, and it says "auto balancing", don't touch anything. When the next round starts--boom. You're in a 6/7/8/9 man squad depending on how many people joined on the squad leader

It doesn't pull them out of the squad to form a new squad? Is that the reason why it has to be the squad leader?
