No doubt. IMO the AA is BS. by the time you counter measure, and a jet can turn back around to lock on it's over. Not to mention it doesn't need to leave the spawn so ground vehicles can't really get to it. Add to the fact you can fire missiles that guide themselves. Jeez. I wish they'd take counter measures from the AA.

This is coming from someone who uses the AA but also enjoys jets/heli's.

An AA is obviously very powerful but in no way should you not need to leave a spawn to top the board in a game.

I've sat in Paracel Storm and shot helicopters and jets out of the sky before they could even reach that first blueberry sniper island.

Id hate to see it nerfed to the point of not being usable, but dice could do a few things:

Increase rocket reload, remove the missles that don't require lock that guide themselves, allow pilots to out maneuver rockets (finally), or take away the AA counter measure.

I guess I don't hate the AA vehicle as much as others since you won't find me in a helicopter, I suck at flying so I don't bother flying(wish more people would take this route...). Battlefield is Rock, Paper, Scissors; when the balance is off the game suffers. Take Bad Company 2, helicopters ruled the air and were practically unstoppable with the exception of a skilled rocketeer. 3 people with tight communications can literally keep the skies clear, accomplishing what a AA can.

I suppose if I were to change the AA gun it would be to raise the sight so it can easily target infantry( I can practically snipe with the thing). Communication is the equalizer in battlefield and always has been, inter squad chat needs to be enabled. If I know my team has a quality pilot but keeps getting shot down then I will target the enemy AA.

Until my PS4 gets here I'm going to sign in occasionally on my roommate's 360. My old GT is still intact and it's AUChase if anyone wants to add me.

I'm 14 hours ahead of the US Central time zone, though..

FWIW, I don't have anywhere near the ability I once did. Just hopped in a game and went 0-8 and got mad and quit.. lol. I'll get it back eventually.The game just isn't meant to be played alone like I am... no communication and getting it handed to me on the regular. I'll have the occasional spark, but it's usually the team working together that runs the other team off the map.

I'm glad they give the option for the veteran and inverted heli controls.

Just from flying around a bit, the Little Bird seems a lot more responsive in this game. I could weave in and out of buildings with ease and picked it back up almost immediately..

My favorite part of collecting clips for that video was clearing rooftops. (And mountains). It was so rewarding.

I just wish all my EOD bot kills recorded. I got like 14 total I think and not one was recorded. Including my epic 4 kill streak behind enemy lines on locker where they had no idea I was there.

Next project: (working title) "Operation Helicopter". Not the scout helicopters. Not the attack helicopters. But the transport chopper.

I'm gonna need help from a few of you for my intro, and periodically repairing, killing, RPGing from the seats of the chopper as well. (If you dare)

I'm all for nearly every gun they put in but I can tell that bot is about to make this ridiculous. I pray it has limited ammo or just crap health.

It's gonna be called the RAWR, lol. and it's gonna be a battle pickup (like the USAS-12, HMV, etc). I don't think it'll be too bad. Think of it as a really tiny and weak tank. No need for panic...yet. I believe it shoots assault rifle rounds and fires something like the 3GL grenades

The desert eagle, on the other hand. HOO BOY. Unless it changes between now and release, that thing is gonna be a steroid-powered nuclear hand cannon. People will be taking out gunships with it. Magnum damage as a semi-auto with no delay, higher RoF, more accuracy, and huge mag.

The bulldog looks to be pretty beastly as well, with the same damage as the SCAR-H but with higher RoF and muzzle velocity, balanced with a really long reload

There's also a new game mode called chain link and I understand it's gonna be like conquest but each "point" has two sub points that must be "linked" and you need the majority of the links to have ticket bleed

The sniper is gonna be a better version of the scout elite, and the PDW is gonna be just so-so

The riot shield is also going to be a support gadget, so I'm not sure how that will be. Can't be penetrated by bullets (except the super snipers), but makes you walk slow and of course takes away a gadget spot. Deals 120 damage (super realistic!)

I can see some fun trolling times with those things. Come to think of it...maybe an idea for a future video...

The funny thing is that the whole Silent Bob thing was a complete accident, when I plugged my mic in I actually thought I was talking to you guys the first night, then once I realized I wasn't, there was too much commotion in the house and it'd be useless to try and communicate with you guys while I have the kids running in and out yelling. (8 year old's Bday extravaganza this weekend)Once you guys started getting creeped out by me joining the party and not saying anything it just got hilarious to me, I thought it added a bit of mystic to my soldier! lmao

When you and I were in Naval Strike yesterday, there was a guy that came behind me and took my tags and I couldn't warn you that he was coming for your soul. I was hoping you got him, but I saw your name pop up as one of the fallen, so I decided that if it's hurting the platoon I can't do it anymore. Silent Bob will become unsilent Bob this week. You guys just can't say I didn't warn you about my extensive use of expletives when I get killed though...

With the riot shield I would love to see an animation similar to a knife takedown where the player knocks the other player down with the riot shield and then whips out his pistol/knife to finish him. That would be pretty badass.

It's ok, we used to have Kramer (cowher) play with us and he cursed up a storm. Won't be much different in that regard.
