I might get it but it won't be until they release the "Premium" Edition.

    For $40.

Yeah I won't be getting hardline as well. It feels more like a mode or dlc that should be part of premium.

dragon's teeth feel like I imagine hardline would. The buildings and almost grid-lock-style of some of the combat zones makes for a lot of medium range gun fights along with the lack of vehicles. I'm digging it.

Chainlink is great. Shorter rounds and I can play solo when I can't catch OSers during the weekdays, thanks to the time zones.

I'm going to upload a video soon of me with the Bulldog. That gun doesn't handle great, but the damage it inflicts is crazy.

Biggest downside of the magazine size and ammo.

Here is maybe a dumb question...well maybe dumb because I've been playing Battlefield so long and don't know the answer:

How do I find out what it takes to unlock some of these newer weapons? Or any weapon for that matter. I usually just play and accept whatever weapons I unlock on the way. It seems maybe like if you have a certain weapon you want to try there might be a way to focus your energy on that a bit??

            Thanks in advance.

you usually need to do 3 things for those newer guns
              ex.
get 10 kills with an AR
get 10 squad spawns with the radio beacon
              capture 4 comm stations

... I google the requirements if I really want a gun, otherwise I don't really care.

I want the deagle for example, but I know you have to jump through hoops for that one, - I know one requirement is 10 kills while swimming in water (or something like that) and I think another one is 10 headshots with a gun I don't have unlocked (another hand gun) ... Some guys will tell you "it's easy" but it's not if you don't play a ton. I've probably killed 2 people while swimming since the game launched. I realize doing it on purpose would speed it up, but I'd die A LOT and it would take me multiple rounds and wouldn't be very fun.

After being meh about the Destiny Beta I was thinking of picking this up. It appears most have gone the PS4 route.

Any particular reason for this? I'm not a fan of the PS4 controller for shooters.

Last gen I was mainly a 360 game buyer. Had a PS3 but didn't play much outside of the show. Although I played BF4 on the 360, most my friends list was COD players.

I seen the community here and most were PS guys so I went with that as my purchase.

Honestly the gaming has slowed down quite a bit since the beginning, but with the lack of games I think if you can snag this at a decent price it's a no brainer.

I like both the X1 and ps4 controllers so idk. If you don't like it for shooters it may turn you off from enjoying the game.

I honestly don't even know what I'm answering anymore. Hope this helps.

Thx 5ive, my boy sold me his for $30 so I pulled the x1 "trigger" since I'm not a fan of shooters on the PS4.

When this game works it's a thing of beauty. Unfortunately most of the time it suffers from rubber banding and piss-poor hit detection.

It's making me look forward to the new CoD for the first time in years. EA really **** the bed on this.

For what's it's worth, I haven't had an issue with rubber banding in a couple of months.

I don't pay enough attention to hit detection to know if it's off, but nothing has stood out to me.

Same here and I've literally played BF4 about 10X as much as him (I checked, I'm sick).

                                It's all subjective.
