Every time someone mentions BC2, I remember how that game changed console shooters for me and how disappointed I am to be getting Hardline instead of Bad Company 3. I never could go back to MW2 after experiencing BC2. Those maps were perfect for Rush.


Speaking of Rush, we never play that on the PS4 and when I played with OSers on both last gen consoles we were almost Rush exclusively. What's up with that ?

The exceptions were Squad Rush clan battles, a little C4 trolling on domination with TMagic, the clan battles on Seine, Metro, etc.

Bad Company 2 was amazing. I remember playing that beta so much before it was released. That Chile Map and Snowy Map.

Generally speaking, that will never truly be eliminated from multiplayer FPS, and will become more exaggerated the further you are away from the server you are connected to.

well, all I can say is I've played many shooters and never seen that type of this this pronounced.

One of the biggest things I like about BF is that it's projectiles and not hit-scan, so all the more reason that getting behind cover should feel good and legit.

As was said, it gets better and worse and isn't generally consistent so it's hard to know what to expect.

I signed on to battle log to start that but I couldn't find the emblem where it said it would be. I use an iMac so not sure if that's why? Or maybe it was too late.

The snake skin on the gun is legit tho.

Same here, at the beginning of the year I was struggling with LMG's, now they have the highest kills for me stat wise.

Is there a problem with the server browser? I filter the east region & there isn't really many servers to choose from & not many are filled. I have the PS4 version. Thanks.

Same here, man. I really love this franchise, but I've had so many frustrating games lately that when I think about playing I have to question if it's worth the aggravation.

I think something got broke again involving the HFU serverside with the July 8th patch. The game was wonderful for a month after the June patch when the early CTE "netcode" improvements dropped making the game better than even the 1st Black Ops (I know a lot of ppl had networking problems with BO1 but it was the best "netcode" in a console shooter to date IMO). Something went horribly wrong in the preparation for DT and the small maps are just exasperating the issues.

I noticed it isn't just the new maps, either. I've had some really awful games on China Rising maps. That said, some games have also been okay on the default maps and second assault. But the game definitely isn't as clean as it was before the new maps dropped.

Spent the small bit I was on yesterday installing updates so I couldn't try out MP, bit. Got on a little this morning, the world is amazing so much space and action and destruction...unfortunately I was dealing with a lot of lag, I'm hoping it was less my connection and more the fact that there was another game d/l in the background as I was playing. I'm hoping it will work better this afternoon because there is no other option for where to put my wireless modem to try to get a better signal and switching providers isn't happening til December.

Anywho, hope to see some of y'all on tonight.

Yeah I have a mic. Been meaning to switch over to your guys team the other day but I only played a few matches. I will definitely jump in next time with you guys.
