I played a couple games on Xbox360 one on each map. I actually had fun playing it, the sound is great, guns feel like they have some real kick, and Frostbite 3 is awesome, but the graphics were horrible, bottom line after looking at how it looks/plays on next-gen consoles and PC, I can't play the current gen version.

I walked away very underwhelmed after playing it. It feels very un-battlefield like and it appears to have swung more into the call of duty look and feel. I guess I was expecting more of what we already had in BF3.

That's how I'm starting to feel as well. However, I want a different map to compare it to like BF3 Metro vs Caspian Border. I hated Metro but loved Caspian Border. Right now, it doesnt totally feel like a Battlefield game for me.

man i HATED Caspian Border...Skipped that map almost every time it came up.

Metro was great for me in any mode but

it reminds me somewhat like they took parts of MOH to me..

im going to give it another shot this weekend but i might be done with the Beta and just go back to playing BF3 until the full version comes out

As far as it feeling like COD i definitely wouldnt go that far. You must not have played that PO# game lately

There were definitely some aspects while playing where it had some COD flashbacks. I am not saying it has totally become that game but TO ME it felt like it swung in that direction and felt less like battlefield to me. I must have over 500 hours playing BF3, and this next installment was not what I was expecting when I actually played the beta.

The blood-spattered screen in the beta should not be in the full version. I get the idea that it's to obstruct view after getting hit but its just too cheesy for my liking. Another thing I've noticed is the VOIP system-- no one uses it for whatever reason.

I'm holding out hope that they will let communities mod BF4 like they did with BF2. If the original content is bland, atleast give us the ability to change it to what we would like it to be on the PC side.

Each day I play the beta for a little bit, my enthusiasm drops a little more.

No way is this CoD. I can tell I'll still love BF4, and BF3 Beta wasn't the greatest either. Terrible framerate issues, graphics, etc. It'll be good once full game is released.

But in no way is this close to that POS CoD as was said.

Agreed, had I just went with my BF3 beta demo impression, I wouldnt have bought the BF3 game. It was plagued with many, many issues.

Then again, I can see where most of the BF2 people hesitation is comming from, with the franchise inclussion of TDM modes, smaller maps and squads, battlelog K/D ratio tracking and other (COD like) things.

Anyways, me, am in love with the improved graphics and atmosphere, as well as with the increased amount of players (thus was dissapointed that was mainly for 1 mode). I believe in the devs team to once again, offer a balanced game and am even more hyped by the prospect of future improvements and additions that these next gen consoles will provide.

BF4 (on PS4) cant come soon enough !

Pc Beta.

Surely its taking a lot of patience dealing with the framerate and obviously struggling graphics. But I'm still having fun. I completely understand and know what to expect out of a beta, and know to expect a ton of improvement come release.

I'm still extremely excited and confident BF4 will look and play great and I can't wait for it to drop. Am I a little frustrated at times dealing with the complete lack of optimization, yes. But I am in no way less excited.

For everyone complaining about the graphics on PC...change them..by default they aren't on the highest, because of performance on some PC's

Push ESC key and go to options and crank them up on all levels....

Preview of Almost complete Ultra Settings....just got the Shadows on High...everything else is maxed..

Graphics shouldn't be an issue for most but the performance(Framerate) most are getting low framerate. My rig can get about 80+ frames guaranteed and I'm hanging around 35-50 and sudden drops to the mid 20s whenever vehicle warfare gets hectic. People with much beefier rigs are getting what im getting and the beta drivers released by AMD and NVIDIA aren't helping much.

I will say not everyone is affected for some reason but what's being widely reported by a lot of individuals and personally, it's killing my experience as well.

What is it about the bf4 beta makes you guys say this is like CoD? because Im not seeing it. If anything the bf3 beta felt more like CoD because operation metro had no vehicles and was purely infantry. Nor was it this wide open
