Just bought the normal physical disc version ... dont have the strength to resist an estimated 2 week download of the premium digital version, plus dont have much money to spend ... ironically, have to wait until next weekend for it to come to our country.

Hope many people still play this game with its default maps and hope there are a few OSers that can afford to waste some time on me (squad, guiding me, etc) while I pickup and get to worhty status.

I remember how hard it was for me to get to such level in BF3, back then it was my first BF game aside from the BC demo, plus all my friends played COD (so did I and developed some bad habits), so hope now it takes fewer time for me to compete as I shouldnt have any bad habits as I havent played a related game since then.

I agree...I prefer the Vanilla maps.

I do think, as an aside, that DICE should make all the maps free DLC but extra content such as guns, gadgets, new modes, camos, etc. as the purchasable DLC. That way the community is not so segregated. Of course -- that'll likely never happen.

Yesterday night played BF4 for the first time and it was great !

Got a bit lucky as the team I was on won every time I played, my first 10 matches are 10-0. When I had 5 consecutive wins, I was like, cant be, so I even withdraw from the room after that match and reentered to another quick match, just to keep the streak alive with some other guys. All conquest by the way.

Guess it was newby luck as my numbers werent good at all, mostly due to not knowing the maps, got killed plenty when respawning on my squad members, snipers and my continuous degradation of stick skills and reflexes ... also that map with lots of tunnels (like a prision in a montain or something) is pure and total havoc/chaos ... maybe am not that far off about newby luck as I do recall seeing something like newby filter.

One of the matches even ended in an epic 1-0 tickets lefts ... we came from behind and managed to win vs the other team, once they got a confortable lead, they started camping and sniping and that ultimately helped us out, I think I got tags of 4 snipers in a row and also got like 3 or 4 opponents at a time with the granade launcher.

Things I liked: The maps, beautifull, just outstandings. The vehicules. The spotting and the guided rockets, kniffing snipers.

Things I disliked: Some bugs, twice got stuck in a black screen and had to back out from the game and re load, am almost certaint that I saw someone kill me with half his body hiden under the ground, granades dont kill enemies when you die, even if throwed before doing so, couldnt back out of stat pages for almost half a match. Noone uses their mics ! Sometimes pressed a button and got the wrong action.

Things I still dont know or that I need to adapt or improve: How do I change weapons, accesories, gadgets ? How do I use the gold crate Items ?


On another note, If you guys have the patience, please add me: ffaacc03 (on PS4) ... thus my spoken english is not that good I comprehend almost everything ... if there are any OS spanish speakers squad would be a plus.

Definitely beginers luck: 14-0 on the first matches ! ... Am still having a hard time killing people (I shoot them many times but they just dont die, while I do almost instantly, lol) but am doing tons of capturing and defending and am spotting whatever I see ... Cant seem to get used to reckon and support classes.

Looking to play with or vs you guys.

Yeap, a great, GREAT offer.

Bought it at 29 (without premium) a few days ago, and they place this magnific offer of even less for premium ... smh.

After seeing how many modes more you get and how many more maps ... and coincidentaly or not, considering that most of the servers with premium maps (official and ranked) have better pin connection ... is a Wonderfull offer.

P.S.
Got the 1st loss, am now 18 - 3 or so in W-L in Conquest ... played with great teams thus those 3 Ls were due to having most players on our team camp and snipe ... and a "bit" due to me.

I thought it wasnt possible but today I somehow managed to play even worse, hehehe .

To change weapons, when you are on the spawn screen (the birds eye view of the map with the objectives, etc) up on the top has all the classes with the loadouts for each one. To change classes, R1 and L1 move your highlight back and forth. To edit the loadouts, have that loadout highlighted and press square. In that screen, pressing X with give you the option to change weapon, gadget, etc. Pressing square will allow you to edit what you have selected, such as adding a scope or whatever.

I think that covers it, hope it helps. If I got something wrong, I apologize, going from memory.

Edit: The items in the battlepacks should automatically be added to your available gadgets and accessories, just sometimes they are for a specific weapon and need to unlock the weapon before you can use it. Also something that took me awhile to realize was make sure to use your XP boosts that come in the battlepacks. In game, press Options, then square (I think) and then select the boost. Its on the bottom of the screen.

Another great reason for Xbox one users to get EA Access is that the DLC is free along with the entire game!
