 Anyone getting this current gen and next gen? I am considering getting it next week for PS3 and then trading it in once the PS4 version releases. Any idea if there is a trade in special for PS3 to PS4?

Im just gonna hold off till ps4 but Im pretty sure you can do the 10 dollar next gen upgrade.

From what I understand, the PS3 version will contain a code to put in the PS Store to buy the digital PS4 version for $10, but to be able to play the PS4 digital version that you buy, you will have to have the PS3 disc in the PS4.

Amazon.com has BF4 Preorder for PS3 that comes with a $10 promo code. I'm using that to cover the PS4 $10 upgrade price. I'll just buy a $10 code from Amazon.

I know I should wait but I'm thinking with it releasing right before my extra life marathon I'll want to play it then.

But that’s just digital only, right? I don’t want digital. If it was for the disk, I would do it. Maybe some new deals will be announced this week.

Pre-ordered on Amazon for PC. Going digital which is a pain with my internet but is the easiest option. Hopefully Amazon will give out the code on the weekend and allow for pre-loading. Not sure how it works with Origin.

The $10 promo comes with the hard copy of BF3 ps3 on amazon.

If you're referring to digital for the trade up version then yes. All the trade up deals I've seen so far are for digital ps4 versions that require ps3 disk to play...

I just cancelled my ps3 preorder and just going to wait for the ps4 version. I am not even that excited for the game, that beta killed most of my excitement for BF4.

So general concensus is the beta was bad?

I honestly downloaded it but only played half a match. Too little to Gauge an opinion

The beta was lackluster. BF3 beta got boring after a while but this one had more glaring performance issues and got boring within the first few hours.
