So far, almost every game i've joined ends with a server crash on PC. I lost two ranks tonight and a couple of unlocks. I feel like I'm finding a rhythm then crash.

The last match I unlocked the scar. I crashed and Battlelog says I didn't.

I think its just par for the course to expect all MP releases to have serious problems once the environment goes live.

My friend is having the same problem. It crashes at the end of almost ever round for him. He has unlocked the grenade launcher like 9 times now lol.

Frankly this type of release is par for the course for Dice now. I figured if they tested the game at all they would have been aware of the massive crashing issues. All the games I have bought since BF3 have had some minor issues at the beginning but never to the extent that Dice rolls out with.

I've got it stable, just playing in windowed mode on medium...with BF4 set to low priority.

I'll be fine, two straight games, no crashes and then when it loads the next round it will cause an error and crash. Still better than yesterday but far from ideal.

I know there is a practice range to test weapons and I know they mentioned you can practice flying helo's as well. Can anyone explain this further and how it's implemented? Can you practice driving tanks and jets as well? How effective is it? How is it set up? Are there objectives? Bots? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Its just a range. No bots. There are practice targets up and all the vehicles are there for you to use. There are also a couple of unmanned drones that you can practice against flying targets. They have a place where you can refill your ammo but I didn't see a place to change your loadout. I didn't have anything unlocked when I used it so that could have been the issue.

As far as how effective, it's as good as it was practicing on an empty server in BF3. You can get used to the control schemes and I used it to customize my buttons and sensitivity.

On another note, it seems like some of the progress loss is from your Ribbons not counting towards your XP in Battlelog. If you level up after a match from the Ribbons you get, it hasn't been transferring to Battlelog. So when you start a new match, you will still be your previous level. I suffered this on the PC side yesterday.

Anyone else having an issue downloading the patch/update? I just got the game today. I'm prompted to download an update but when I select it to download to my HD nothing happen. I have available space on my HD.

Messed around in the test range for 20 or so minutes, no issues.

First online server game, mid-game I get a black loading screen and taken back to Battlelog.
Second online server game, rubberband lag.

Back to BF3 for me

Front knifing is hilarious. I was completely out of ammo and saw a guy on my map and literally bunny hopped straight into him as he was shooting me and took his tags. That had to be so demoralizing. I brought a knife to a gun fight and came out with a shiny souvenir.

Someone tried that on me and I counter-knifed him. Don't think he was very happy.

Ive been back....the gunplay in this game is horrible compared to BF3. Plays too much like MOH in some ways

Same key as your knife button. F on PC for me. It popped up and told me to press F to counter, that's the only reason I even knew I could do so at that point.
